Staffed by a team of professional esports coaches, gamers and analysts, these esports camps will be customized to each student’s needs and areas of study. This camp will feature both group activities and one-on-one coaching. Multiple disciplines and related fields will be offered, providing every student with the most up-to-date curriculum, infrastructure and tools available. Campers also receive two hours each day of additional programming focused on maintaining physical health, fitness, nutrition and mental health, as well as coaching in PR, social media management and career counseling. Campers will have plenty of time to relax, play games and enjoy SPIRE’s huge sports and recreation campus. Virtual Reality is a powerful new tool for educators and professionals. From helping patients, to building out projects in a virtual space, or protecting assembly line workers with safety procedure overlays, VR will change the workplace of the future. Touring space, the natural wonders of the planet, even visiting a city you always wished you could travel to are all possible in the world of VR. Many professional gamers fall in the age range of 17-25. SPIRE offers the skills and tools to help bridge the gap between personal excellence, and the skillset needed to succeed in a professional environment at such a young age. But the opportunities do not begin and end with professional ambitions. Colleges, esports organizations, and leagues are all looking for talent to help them grow. Pursuing esports in college does not mean just getting to play video games, it can mean scholarships, recruitment, and additional considerations in the acceptance process. Esports helps colleges reach students who they otherwise would not, offering a personalized recruiting experience to students and fitting those students into programs where they are best suited to succeed. Once on campus, students often enjoy the camaraderie of a team environment, and additional support and guidance often reserved for athletics.

A complete esports development suite 5 Day/6 Night overnight sessions at SPIRE (2 weeks in June and July) Co-ed Summer Camp (12 campers per session, grades 9–12) Daily team practice, skill development, industry speakers, lectures. Campers will have plenty of time to relax, play games and enjoy SPIRE’s huge sports and recreation campus. Introduction to VR set-ups and concepts. Prominent focus on teaching and promoting complete health and mental wellness for players. This will include daily exercise, dietary discussion and how to best manage social media, mental health concerns and career preparation Partnered with multiple colleges engaged in or interested in esports many of who offer or want to offer esports scholarships. Recommended for players with experience in League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant and Counter Strike.

VIRTUAL PROGRAM PROGRAM FEATURES
Online, At-Home esports Summer Camps are offered as one-week, home-based experiences from SPIRE Academy, a premier co-ed sports training. Each camp day, campers will work with esports industry professionals to learn the basics of the business and improve their in-game skills. Working one-on-one and in small groups with professionals, camper’s skills are measured and tracked throughout the week to ensure each camper gets a personalized coaching and training experience. In game practice is combined with management principles, recruitment guidelines, strategy sessions, critical thinking skill development, and other coursework to develop a baseline knowledge base of the industry and how it operates. Every program includes one-on-one personalized training and coaching sessions, as well as team-based competitions.
INTRODUCTORY Includes Team based coaching in League of Legends. Work with our coaches and your teammates to learn competitive strategy, the differences between solo queue and competitive play and more! Includes Lecture Series “Intro to Esports 101” based on the lecture series offered at Dean College over the Summer. Topics Include: Businesses of esports; How collegiate esports ecosystem is structured; What colleges are looking for in players; best practices to get seen and be recruited; Evolution of esports as a consumer product. Includes SPIRE STREAM Community Discord Invite to participate with the growing SPIRE esports and Mechatronics Community.

Designed to go deeper into individual mechanics and clean up some of those critical mistakes you may be overlooking, as well as improve your overall understanding of team play and objective prioritization. Includes Lecture Series “Intro to Esports 101” as well as lectures from guest speakers who are currently working in the industry, includes Q/A time to dive deeper into some of these topics.
