Saturday, June 10, 2023 Do you want to learn more about global issues and talk with your peers about changing the world? Join us for our first ever Cadette Global Citizenship Summit! This year, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts on our Global Citizenship leadership team have been hard at work learning about global issues. Learn what they have discovered, enjoy lunch with friends, and participate in fun activities that will show you how to change the world, one idea at a time. Adults must register with girls, using the required volunteer-to-girl ratios. Gain business, finance, marketing, and non-profit management tips from UNO College of Business Administration faculty and develop your sense of self. Visit local entrepreneurs to learn how they got started and participate in your own small business challenge. You’ll be matched with a mentor during the camp—our mentors are inspiring women from a variety of professional backgrounds. Enjoy challenging and fun adventures with your mentor such as kayaking, swimming, archery, yoga, a special formal dinner, and more! Explore career planning and networking while developing a strong bond with the other girls and women at camp. Learn how to develop healthy relationships, become more confident, and gain a strong sense of self, too!
