Bronze and Silver Award Deadlines

Deadline for girls to complete their project and submit the final report for recognition at a 2023 Girl Awards ceremony. Girls who submit the final report after March 31, 2023, will be recognized at the 2024 Girl Awards ceremony.

Earning the Girl Scout Gold Award

GRADES 9-12 (SENIORS AND AMBASSADORS)

The Girl Scout Gold Award represents the highest achievement in Girl Scouting. It recognizes girls in grades 9-12 who demonstrate extraordinary leadership through Take Action projects that have sustainable impact in their communities and beyond. You can pursue your Gold Award if: ✓ You’re in high school (ninth through twelfth grade, or equivalent). ✓ You’re registered as a Girl Scout Senior or Girl Scout Ambassador. ✓ You have completed two Senior or Ambassador Journeys OR earned the Girl

Scout Silver Award and completed a Senior or Ambassador Journey. To get started, visit www.GirlScoutsNebraska.org/Gold to view resources, requirements, deadlines, and next steps to complete your Gold Award. Seven steps are required to earn the Gold Award: 1. GSAG is a dynamic and creative group of 6th-12th grade girls who hang out together, brainstorm program ideas, work side-by-side with council staff, and guide the direction of Girl Scouting in Nebraska. How Do I Join?
