Scholarship applications must be postmarked no later than February 1 If you are applying for an SPJST scholarship to be awarded in 2002, please note that all required information to the Scholarship Department must be postmarked no later than February 1, 2002 to be accepted. Please follow guidelines and submit all required information listed below (1 - 6), by February 1 to: SPJST Attention Scholarship Department P.O. Application: Must be fully completed and signed. 2. Transcript: Request school/college to send current official transcript to SPJST Scholarship Department. The transcript must have a GPA on a 4.00 scale. GED accepted. 3. SAT/ACT/TASP Scores: All High School Seniors must submit an official verification of SAT, ACT, or TASP scores. These scores should be submitted with a current, official transcript. Only those students applying for SPJST Technical Scholarships/ Grants have the option of submitting DAT. 4. Personal Statement: Send a personal statement that includes why you wish to go to college, which college you plan to attend, and your planned major. Explain how the scholarship will help you in no more than 300 words. The statement
