The photo at right provides a glimpse of the SPJST Youth Christmas Tree on display in the lobby of the SPJST Home Office throughout the Holiday Season. All of the ornaments on the SPJST Youth Christmas Tree were designed and made by SPJST youth club members from across Texas. Presents under the tree were donated by SPJST Home Office employees, members and friends to benefit Temple's Santa Pal program. "Czech Christmas" has a specific cultural meaning. It includes a great many folk customs, ceremonies and other folk traditions connected with them. Dating back to the time of the Middle Ages, Christmas motifs appear in the works of many Czech artists and writers. Christmas music, too — carols, pastoral songs and other musical compositions inspired by season — hold an important place in the history of Czech music.
