Santa's Helpers! When they had their annual Christmas Party on December 15, members of Lodge 172, Pasadena did something a little different this year. Rather than the typical gift exchange, members opted to each donate a toy to Pasadena's Officer Santa Program which delivers the gifts collected to deserving boys and girls. Pictured above, Lodge 172 member Tony Tucker presents the bounty collected to Police Officer Robert Lawrence. See related party photos on page 9.
Have You Applied? SPJST will again be awarding $1000 scholarships to qualifying members in 2003. To be considered for one of the scholarships, please contact the President's Department at (800) 727-7578 at your earliest convenience for an application.
We Wish You a Merry Christmas! Lodge 9, Snook Youth Club members perform for residents of the Bryton Inn care center in College Station. Ann Schoeneman accompanied the carolers on the piano. The performance coincided with a MASH (Make a Smile Happen) toy drive and trip to McDonald's for treats. All in all, it was a full and enjoyable day of giving and celebration.
