BIO
I have been playing soccer at Handsworth Parramore FC in Sheffield since 2011, I am currently playing for the U19s, U21s and the county senior 1 st team. I am a tall goalkeeper who reads the game very well, I like to play the sweeper keeper role as much as possible, along with playing out from the back. I am a good shot stopper and my handling is just as good. I would love to be on a soccer scholarship in the States whilst studying for a degree, preferably Sport related such as Sport psychology, Sports coaching or teaching degree.
ACHIEVEMENTS: I recently won Sportsman of the year at my college, this was achieved by performing well for the academy soccer team, week in week out. Showing commitment to other teams such as basketball and cricket, and doing well in my sport studies. Since joining Handsworth in 2011, we have won the league every season, the 2013/14 season was mine and the team’s best achievement as we won the Sheffield U18 premier division and stayed unbeaten all the way through, along with winning the Sheffield cup. I have kept the most clean sheets through league’s premier to league 5 for the past 3 seasons. ACADEMICSGCSEs: English - C

1. Why do you want to go in the USA? I would love to attend college in the USA for several reasons, the first been that I recently went to New York on a soccer tour and saw the facilities and standard of soccer in the USA and think I would fit well into the standard and style of play, I have visited the country on many occasions and love the place, it would be a dream to move to the US. I think my soccer experience along with my grades I have achieved in England are good building blocks to start college in the USA. I believe I would be a great asset to a soccer team along with keeping up well with the academic side. I also would love to study away from the UK and do something a bit unique and different and I think this would be the perfect opportunity for myself. 2. What degree do you want to study? I have a few ideas in my in terms of degrees I would like to study. Most of them are sport related, degrees such as Sport coaching, Sport psychology or a Sport teaching degree would suit me well as I am a very sport based individual, I also studied a unit of Sport psychology and Sport coaching in my college last year which I found interesting and I enjoyed. Another option is a Paramedic science or Sport science degree as I would love to learn about the body. 3.What would you like to achieve over your four years in the USA? Over the 4 years I would be spending in the USA I would like to gain a degree in which I enjoy studying, if I decided to do a teaching degree I would love to have the opportunity to stay on and get a masters degree. If my football career does take off I would love to break into a MLS team set up. I believe in 4 years time I will be able to grow into a more experienced goalkeeper by learning from not only my coach but my team mates, this would be a great opportunity for me to try and make it as a professional footballer.
