Architects perceive something from the surroundings, and they try to conver t it through abstrac t space stra teg y to architec ture. Thereby, people in the space can sense the invisible poem tha t architec ts want to elabora te. Most of my included works are based in Tainan city in Taiwan. box in BOX in [ ] _Orchid Exhibition Hall

The existing impression of the orchid industry is exquisite agriculture for ornamental purposes. Although it is a plant, it is usually displayed more like ornaments. After deeply understanding the development and problems of this industry, I proposed the three levels of orchids and used this orchid exhibition hall to illustrate the display.

The base is located in the Taiwan Orchid Biotechnology Park in Houbi District, Tainan City. For the effect of industrial clustering, we can see a large-scale modern orchid greenhouse on the base analysis map. Taiwan is the world's largest exporter of orchid plants due to its rich biological resources and suitable climate.

But assuming that the advantage is environmental conditions, why do we still need to use such a large-scale glass box to build the orchid industry? Shouldn't orchids be wild in nature? I hope that by highlighting the contradiction between the greenhouse and equipment in the environment and comparing the harmony between the orchid garden and the environment, the public could reflect on the orchid industry and its sustainable thinking.

My design intention is to have a higher level of understanding of existing cognition and spatial cognition from the moving process of the box in box. With the dependence and necessity on structure and structure tectonics, people could be aware of the coincidence-like design, which aroused thinking about both the architecture design and the necessity of quality agriculture.

Walking from the suspended staircase in the middle of the box all the way down to the ground floor, the visitors discovered that the space just now was not known to be a coincidence or the design was contained in a box suspended in the air. The open plane at the bottom of the glass box contains programs related to nature. Step out of the glass box and see the sunken garden like a paradise, planting trees suitable for symbiosis of orchids, combined with gravel paving, providing ecological education tours and other activities. The equipment space visible only from the head up, as a low-key reactionary to the current orchid industry . a b c d

ANTAGONISTIC HOUSE

-Stage 01 DOOR

-Stage 02 DOOR + Column

Door frame, doorway, door leaf, who defines the door? I explore what elements are made of doors (commonality), and when these elements are conflicting or missing (specificity), what can fully interpret and designate it as a door?

In the second stage, I constructed a two-dimensional structural system, using corner doors, pivot doors, sliding doors and V-shaped doors, and tested different doors using the structural system as the door frame (limiting the movement range of the door leaf). After the door is opened, it is affected by another dimensional structural system, the doorway is then turned. The space can be switch-formed by the relative relationship when the door is opened and closed. I define the floating range of the doorway as a more public space, and those fixed spaces obtain privacy by doors as barriers.

At this stage, the conclusions of the second stage are applied to the actual configuration, and I use the different degrees of freedom of the door's entrance to define different privacy relationships between different people. The two sides of the building are designed as twins because they have an antagonistic relationship, which is that they become 0.5+1/0.5 or 0.5/1+0.5 because of the offset of the middle core door.

Storywear is a zero-waste fashion brand that collects recycled fabrics and clothing, and produces goods by re-employed women and disadvantaged groups with excellent tailoring craftsmanship.

When I first got in the base, what caught my eyes was the leak light coming from the crack between the roof and shattered tin roof. The light defines the building volume, which is similar to the fact that Storywear defines the true value of those disadvantaged groups.

T h i s S t o r y w e a r b ra n d b a s e provides visitors with customized story clothes journeys, making this special memory into their own story clothes. The establishment of the brand base hopes to drive the Minquan Road near the base, which is famous for its boutique fashion industry, and also provide opportunities for students from the related institutes to learn from traditional industry enterprises.

I want to strengthen the effect of light defining the volume of the building to create a dramatic feel to the space for space users, in a way to establish more connections between the community and passersby.

A venue for holding retreats

Paradeisos

26

Paradeisos is the place in the Bible that describes where people stay before going to heaven after death.

27

This is a venue for holding retreats. People come to a space with five senses that are different from the usual, and are temporarily removed from the day-to-day life and work in the city. They can enjoy nature, repair relationships, settle themselves, and regain the focus of life.

28

The architecture allows people who come here to feel the atmosphere beyond the daily life, by referring to the plane configuration of the biological cavity and the plant sieve system, creating a heterogeneous natural landscape architecture connected by a freely defined GL series.

29

A functional hybrid block design

The symbiosis communities #Designing new lifestyle#Light rail station#Traditional market and historical district Sociality and community are the elements that we think humans must have in their lives. After the outbreak of the pandemic, we should re-examine the current lifestyle and propose a new life system in response to a future that “may be affected by the pandemic again”. We classified people in small units. Families as islands, a collective house as a vertical archipelago, and a block as a larger archipelago. When people are scattered into individuals, we want to use the connection and controllability of the “Bridges” that we design to connect and isolate when necessary.

Taipei 101 combines the best of construction engineering technologies and has been the most iconic building in Taipei. However, to truly enter Taipei 101 to get a birds-eye view of Taipei, only to purchase a ticket through to the observatory. Most floors of the building are occupied by private corporate offices which are not accessible to the general public. Besides, such a large volume also consumes a lot of energy at every moment.

32

We believe that iconic buildings have their own social and public responsibilities. By superimposing the new design to the original, Taipei 101 could have more publicity. In addition, it could provide auxiliary power to reduce the dependence on nonrenewable energy by wind, responding to the issue of sustainability at the same time.

I co n s i d e r t h e s p a ce under the bridge as a piece lifte d from the city ground, and there are still some wire-like connections in between. These "wires" are the bridge structure, the hanging clothes, and people passing by. I tried to produce images which are closer to the sense of craftsmanship in line with the sensibility of this case using an AI tool(SinGAN).

Through acoustics, lighting, and line of sight, we hope to reawaken people’s innate ability of perceiving space.

OVVO is a karaoke box shaped as an egg with a capacity of four people. Entering from four different openings, the users are separated by transparent dividers while the vacuum tube in the center serves as an acoustic transmitter, so people are able to take off their masks, sing and relax, while also enjoying high sound quality.

ARCH 4 Real- OHDND Old House Dong-Ning Dormitory Old house X new life 2018 Hands-on experience

We worked on this abandoned school property for 2 months, including the designing process on papers and the construction period. We saw roots, painted interiors, built roofs, reused old doors and windows, built large wooden stairs in the backyard, and laid bricks. This ruin was completely transformed and became the most exciting exhibition venue to showcase our annual show.

With transparent dividers and the central tube, there are no visible obstacles between people. Each person can view a projection above the head of the person sitting across from them, thus blurring the gaps between users as the projection serves as an interactive device. UV lighting

Spinning Mechanism

Air Circulation

We designed a shape that is convenient for automatic disinfection. By integrating architecture elements such as the ceiling, floor, and furniture, we chamfered it to increase cleaning accessibility. After usage, disinfection is vital. The space will first be sterilized by UV lighting, then the four dividers rotate around the center of the circle by designed mechanisms, while the sterilizers and roller-like cloth on their edges do a more thorough cleaning.

The ambience within the space also changes as the LED lights shining from the bottom of the tube visualizes sound waves, creating a fun atmosphere. As dance movements, lights, shadows, and projections intertwine, the connection between sound, body, and architecture are strengthened by space, then captured by our senses. With OVVO, we wish to break the long-distance norms after COVID and emphasize how irreplaceable physical experience is to people.

Above a canal @ Kaosiung Museum Of Fine Arts We use the rotating walkway to visualize the cycle of space disinfection and human use, and express its inaccessibility during disinfection.
