Yip! Yipp! eeee! Y

ou have in your hands the 100th issue of Spot Magazine. I wouldn't have thought to track that, but our Vonnie mentioned it a few months ago, so we counted ‘em up, and happily hadn’t missed the chance to celebrate. And what a sweet celebration it is! Like many publishing ventures, Lil Spot, born August 2005 (this is also its 9th birthday ), endured rough economic waters starting around ’08, and greatly diminished advertising revenue with the advent of social media (this, a huge blow — until then magazines like Spot were wholly advertising supported).

Jennifer McCammon (L) and Jenny Kamprath celebrate the first issue of Spot – Aug. ’05, hot off the press

Then we made two important changes: publishing every other month instead of monthly, and diversifying to offer marketing services — at which we were expert, but until then had only practiced within Spot itself. Those changes made all the difference, moving Spot from a tough, precarious place, to where it is today: stable, and most importantly, tailwagging, eyes-shining, butt-wiggling overjoyed to not only celebrate this little landmark with you, but for the new opportunities to serve others that has turned out to be more good for everyone involved (and fun!) than we ever imagined. There are so many people and businesses who helped make possible Spot’s shift from barely surviving to thriving. BiMart has been a longtime partner — in the magazine, events, fundraisers and activities — and without them Spot simply wouldn’t be here today. Others at the top of Spot’s list of Champions (there are so many — but those here have stuck close, “held our hands” through tough times, and continued to support our efforts through every curve and curveball) in no particular order, include Cascade VRC, Dignified Pet Services, Good Neighbor Vet, Whole Pet NW, Bennington Properties, Show Dogs Grooming, Idyllic Beach House, Rose City Vet, VCA NW Veterinary Specialists, Back on Track, McMenamins Dog-Friendly Properties, Multnomah County Animal Services, Companion Pet Clinic St. Johns, NoPo Paws and Mittens Motel — again, that’s just a few. Others include the innumerable friends in animal welfare and the biz, with whom we work, brainstorm and play. This community is wicked-awesome for pet-loving, hard-working people, and we’re blessed and thrilled to be part of it. In addition to a few special celebratory notes in this issue, we’re celebrating with a Summer Social Aug. 10 at Oaks Park. There we’ll host the 2014 Cover Model Search, so grab your little star and come play! Highlights include doggie Cascade VRC presents ice cream, a fitness session, summer suds, awesome raffle items and more — all supporting Born Again Pit Bull Rescue, Deaf Dogs of Oregon and Spot. We work with and support countless Aug 10 • 10 – 2 orgs serving animals — this one’s for BAPBR and DDO, so please come help The Grove at Oaks Park celebrate them!

Hope to see you there. Thank you for faithfully reading and sharing Spot all these years — it’s been such a treat! Here’s to 100 more . . . 

Cover Model 411 NAME: Ranger AGE / BREED: 4-year-old Papillion mix STOMPING GROUNDS: Ranger lives with his Mom, Janet, in a Senior Park in Springfield. A high-energy guy, he goes daily to run at Mt. Pisgah Park or a local meadow, where he strikes his low-profile “greyhound” stance and zooms! He knows their routes, and lets Janet know if she deviates. PACK: Ranger has two special friends he likes to play with: a friend of his Mom’s Schnauzer (where he’s the boss), and his Mom’s daughter’s Australian Shepherd (where he’s NOT the boss). LOVES: Ranger loves to sunbathe, but Mom won’t let him stay out long — his bright white coat and pink skin make him prone to sunburn. No bone is too big for him, and he stays on his towel to gnaw on it (if he doesn’t the bone goes away) so he stays! Ranger’s only special toy “that he hasn’t wrecked” is a long alligator. He spins and flips when Mom gets home, but he doesn’t jump: he knows that’s a NO NO! DOESN'T LOVE: The words “I’ll be right back” send him off to hide under the bed. SPECIAL NOTES: Ranger is a talker, and he and Janet have a special language they both know and understand.

Portland’s largest annual dog wash is big fun Portland is widely known for many things, and topping the list is fantastic beer and great dogs. The community will celebrate both perennial favorites at the 20th annual Dogtoberfest fundraising event, hosted by DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital in partnership with Lucky Labrador Brew Pub. Saturday, Sept. 6, more than 150 volunteers will converge at Lucky Lab at 915 SE Hawthorne to wash and dry upwards of 500 dirty dogs. The surrounding blocks are closed to traffic, making for a great day-long street fair, complete with good suds, live music and unique items — such as the unveiling of the 2015 DoveLewis commemorative calendar. The event benefits the DoveLewis Blood Bank, one of the nation’s largest all-volunteer programs of its kind. More than 100 canine and feline blood donors, called “Superheroes,” provide enough blood annually to enable the program to deliver more than 400 life-saving transfusions each year. Piper Leftwich, a lucky Lab herself, needed blood transfusions after undergoing emergency surgery for gastric dilatation volvulus (aka “bloat”). Blood donations from Superhero Diamond Bartel made all the difference in Piper’s story. “If it hadn’t been for the DoveLewis Blood Bank, my dog Piper would have died,” said Megan Leftwich. “I cannot thank DoveLewis enough, and Diamond Bartel, of course, for sending Piper home to resume her happy life.”

“Dogtoberfest is a great opportunity to have fun, get your dog washed, and learn about how you can help DoveLewis save lives,” says DoveLewis Blood Bank Program Director, Jill Greene. “All too often, injured or sick animals require blood transfusions as part of their treatment. Without the participation of canine blood donors and support from the community at Dogtoberfest, animals in need might not receive critical transfusions in time.” To learn more about Dogtoberfest, the DoveLewis Blood Bank, or how your dog can become a Superhero, visit dovelewis.org.

ROSE VILLA… Home for the Whole Family Kristin Regan • Spot Magazine

Two Years ago,  Norma

Martin and her husband were living on acreage in Roseburg, Oregon with two dogs, two cats, and a parrot. In their early 70s, they decided it was time to find living arrangements more tailored to their golden years. It was important to the Martins to keep their pets with them, and live in a community that shared their love of animals.

Become a foster parent to homeless pets in need!

M ult coPets.org Multnomah County Animal Services 10 Spot Magazine | August/September 2014

Norma’s husband was a registered nurse with a Master’s in Geriatric Care, so as the Martins toured potential facilities, they knew what to look for. When touring Rose Villa, Norma says, “My husband drove through the facility, and when I asked him what he thought, he gave me two thumbs up.” They moved in shortly after and Norma boasted about how welcoming the community was for her pets. "We chose Rose Villa because they are a nonprofit, single-site entity that is resident driven,” says Norma. “We actually know the CEO, not just her name." Today, the entire family lives in a cottage nestled in the Rose Villa Senior Living Community, where the Martins and their pets enjoy all the amenities of their former home, save the acreage and country setting. The Martins chose Rose Villa for its state-of-the-art healthcare

services, and its far from corporate makeup. The community operates with few rules, and is highly inclusive, seeking resident input in matters of development, policies and other matters affecting them. Along with their pets, the Martins were made to feel right at home. Taking its pet-friendly philosophy to another level, this year Rose Villa has built a dog park for its residents. Preparing for the project, Rose Villa sought input from the residents — pro and con — and enlisted Norma Martin to head things up as captain. Well suited to task, Norma had enjoyed a career as a contractor in the building industry.

Taking its PET-FRIENDLY philosophy to another level, Rose Villa has built a DOG PARK for its residents

The group held brainstorming events, and as a community decided what they wanted the dog park to be (and not to be). Setting out to build it, Norma’s background and the support of Vassar Byrd, CEO of Rose Villa, gave the endeavor a good chance at success. "We wanted to make the dog park a joint project between the staff and residents," says Byrd. The park was built with a double-gated entrance for safety, and was surrounded by rose bushes, creating a park-like sanctuary. Generously-spaced mature trees offer shade in sun, protection in inclement weather, and beauty. Access to the park was made easy for residents with a compressed gravel path, stable enough for carts and wheelchairs. A poop bag dispenser and garbage receptacle make picking up poop quick and easy. Norma says the park will truly be complete when they are able to get water to the site so residents won’t have to carry it in.

Rose Villa highlights the term, "COMMUNITY" by bringing residents together, sharing their strong LOVE OF PETS

When a Martin pet needs vet care, they rely on a membership service that provides medical care, transport and food. Rose Villa also will transport pets to appointments and residents shopping for pet supplies. Rose Villa staff does everything in its power to ensure residents can care for their pets by offering every advantage, from transportation to end of life plans.

The park provides a social setting for not only resident humans, but resident dogs. Many schedule playdates throughout the week, making sure Gina, Max, Jessie, Annie, Buster, Nubbin and Finlay all have a chance to meet and greet in the best way dogs know how. With over 20 dogs ranging in size from a 3 lb Chihuahua to an 80 lb Golden Retriever, the park caters to every need, both human and canine. Rose Villa’s apartment homes offer pet-friendly housing as well. When Norma and her husband moved in from their country setting, they knew their family would have adjustments to make. Rose Villa staff and Norma designed and built a fence, ensuring the Martin’s feline escape artist Suki wouldn’t get out. The Martins cottage has front and spacious back yards, making home life for the 4-legged Martin creatures comfortable, beautiful and safe.

Love is Multiplied When it is Given

In fact residents must have a plan for their pets should they outlive them, and Norma pointed out that while she does have plans, she intends to outlive even a few more rounds of pets. It was agreed that she has 35+ more years to offer, and loving cats and dogs during those years is her intent. Rose Villa will soon add 76 more homes, and Norma, Chair of the Residents Association Council, is excited. Plans include creating an improved view of the river for many residents, and most importantly, the new units will make way for new friends for Finlay and Nubbin. While both Martin dogs are older, they welcome every chance to meet new dogs and schedule more playdates. Rose Villa highlights the term “community” by bringing residents together, sharing a strong love for their pets. When a pet passes, the entire community grieves together, even when the resident is slightly less sociable.

Help us help them

Senior communities are increasingly recognizing and accommodating the importance of the human/animal connection, and it’s thanks to people like Norma Martin, and places like Rose Villa, that seniors both young and older are able to live better lives in their communities.

Difference ... One Cat at a Time

Vanessa Salvia • Spot Magazine

Norma King,

a Springfield business owner, never thought she would end up working with the city of Springfield and Willamette Animal Guild to trap, spay, neuter and release hundreds of feral cats. But now she says she’s not stopping, and that the joy of saving and rehoming each cat or kitten keeps her going. Starting Action Mower and Equipment Repair in April 2009, King moved into a trailer park behind the shop a year later. “There was a mama cat with kittens that a lady had raised,” she recalls. “She was getting evicted and she said that Greenhill came and took the kittens, but the next day, after she’d left, they were still out there. I took care of those kittens.” King found another litter around Thanksgiving, and believes there was yet another in between. She again gathered up the kittens to care for them, though she had little money. She took the mama cat to Willamette Animal Guild (WAG) — a low-cost spay/neuter clinic — for a feral package, a $40 deal that includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea/ear-mite treatments and an ear-tip (snipping the tip of one ear signals a cat is altered). Then she met Teresa Koch, who did Trap-Neuter-Return, a common practice in which feral cats are trapped, altered, and returned to the environment where they were trapped — as www.spotmagazine.net | 13

that’s basically their best option. Koch was willing to help at King’s trailer park. She did, and “in April 2011 I told her ‘If you need help I’ll help you,’ because she did something for me and I wanted to help her.” True to her word, King began helping Koch trap feral cats. Then In 2012, Koch moved out of state. Before leaving however, Koch set up a fund at WAG to allow King Norma King and a to continue trapping. At that kitty named Nunjay at her trap-neuter-release point, animals were stackshelter in Springfield. ing up in her workspace. “I can do two recoveries in the bathroom with the door closed and sometimes I could set up two in the main room. Then in a little cubby I can stack two dog crates,” she explains, pointing out the spaces in the office of her mower repair shop. Word of “the cat lady” quickly spread, and King was getting increasing calls about strays. One night after working a long day, she went home to find a cardboard box on her porch. “I didn’t even

have to look inside,” she says. “I knew what was in there — kittens, about 8 to 10 weeks old, gooped-up eyes, looking pretty bad.” Zoro is deaf and was found by Norma Last Memorial Day in a box thrown over her fence. King held a fundraiser to pay for fuel and trapping supplies. She met a woman who suggested King talk with Springfield Mayor, Christine Lundberg. About two months later, she did. Mayor Lundberg offered King 3,000 square feet of space for her rescue mission, provided she was under the umbrella of a nonprofit. King joined forces with WAG, and last December she secured a $50,000 grant to alter 1,000 cats in Springfield.

When King is working with someone to trap a feral cat, she tells them not to put out food for 24 hours. The traps are cushy, have water, a blanket and tempting food such as tuna or sardines. “I set traps around and sit in my car so I can hear when they go off,” she says. Usually, it takes up to 90 minutes to trap a cat, and she does this almost every day of the week after working a full day at her own business. King now has several rooms in her Springfield facility, for feral cats, cats in recovery from surgery, and free-roamers. She says she is always dismayed to find that many of the “wild” cats she

traps are friendly. “That means they’ve been fed, and have had contact with people who probably knew they were having babies.” King now manages 40 volunteers and transports for surgeries four days a week. Each day after work she checks on her kitty guests. Since early Norma King and a kitty named Lloyd at her trapthis year, she and her team have neuter-release shelter in cared for 200 strays and more Springfield. than 160 owned cats. Fifty-five cats have come through that were adoptable or adopted. Some adoptables have gone to PetSmart to be adopted, and three have gone to Sara’s Treasures. “I don’t want to see the cats struggling to survive,” says King. “Each cat that I can help on their journey to their new home is what keeps me going.” King’s grant is renewable, and once she makes a report in December she believes she will be re-funded. “I have no doubt that we will reach our goal of 1,000 cats,” she says. Recently King again met with Mayor Lundberg, who told her that most of the comments and emails she gets are either about the city’s proposed developments in the Glenwood area or “the cat project.”

“She said people tell her they have seen a difference in their neighborhood,” King says. “They say ‘thank you for supporting the cat project' because this is the first time they haven’t had feral cats in their neighborhood. So it’s starting to make a little bit of a difference.”

4th Place

NAME: Tiger Ready to Paddle

NAME: Lotto AGE/BREED: 8-year-old, Shihtzu-Pekingnese mix STOMPING GROUND: Lakewood, WA PACK: Mama, Alyssa Flores; Papa, Aaron Ambos and 4-year old cousin Bella Flores (all human); and Marley, a Boston Terrier, Capone a Chihuahua, and Dexter the Dachshund LOVES/DOESN'T LOVE: Lotto is smart and spoiled, and loves being with his human family and canine friends. He loves doing tricks for his treats, and is very vocal (every day he tells us stories about what happened while he was at the groomer or while we

5th Place were away at work). Lotto loves children, and is very gentle. He also loves sunbathing; however, Lotto is not a fan of animals (especially dogs) on TV. His mama thinks it’s because he can't play with them! Lotto also doesn't love long vacation car rides unless he gets to hang his head out of the window SPECIAL NOTES: He is such a lovable boy, and our only wish is we had more of him. Although his vocal quality (known as the Pekingnese howl) is not something we always enjoy, he just wouldn't be Lotto without it.

Two kittens, two cars, two rescues — one week

Home vet care expands

Thanks to the efforts of four animal service organizations, one tiny kitten is on her way to a new life after being stuck in the brakes of a car. The saga began June 17, when East Wind Animal Services (EWAS) received a call from a couple who heard the little cat meow after starting their car. Janna and Robbie Russell from EWAS went to the scene and were able to extract the eight-weekold kitten, whose paw had been stuck in the braking mechanism, and get her to DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital for emergency care before being sent to Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS) for further care. The kitten, now called Dove, lost one of her legs due to severe trauma, but is adapting well to her new tripod status and was moved to Cat Adoption Team (CAT) for foster care prior to being available for adoption.

At Home Pet Loss Services has expanded to offer resources and information about pet loss, pet hospice, quality of life, and grief support at homepetloss.com. Created by Dr. Louise Mesher, DVM of At Home Veterinary Services (AHVS) — winner of multiple Spot Dr. Louise Mesher, DVM Magazine Top Dog Awards, including the highest awards for End of Life Services and In Home Veterinary Care — the site is an extension of AHVS’s service and support for families facing difficult, end of life decisions for their dog or cat. Learn more at pdxhomevet.com or homepetloss.com.

That same week, another kitten, named Lil’ Motor, was also rescued from a car engine compartment, filthy from engine oil but otherwise unharmed. After being given a clean bill of health by DoveLewis and then going to MCAS to determine if he was someone’s missing pet, he was transferred to CAT to be placed for adoption. Lil’ Motor was adopted within hours of arriving at CAT and is now living with his new forever family. Kristi Brooks, CAT Operations Manager, says she was not surprised he found a home so quickly. “He’s a very sweet little boy,” she says.

Washington pet store owner eats pet food for 30 days Dorothy Hunter, co-owner of the Washington-based Paw’s Natural Pet Emporium, ate nothing but pet food sold at her shop for 30 days to show her customers the food she sells for pets is equally worthy of human consumption. Living solely on a diet of kibble, canned cat food and treats for a month, Hunter wants to prove the point that well-sourced and -produced food made for animals can be just as nutritious for people. The store owner only sells food free of fillers, preservatives and animal by-products, and avoids food products from China. Her story gained national media attention, helping Hunter further her point. “I can’t stress enough how important it is to read labels and see what’s in the food you eat — whether it’s pet food or human food,” she told the Tri-State Herald. “If this month of eating pet food enlightens people to the importance of that, then I’ll be happy.” For the record, her favorite nibbles include Tiki canned food and Natural Balance kibble.

87 kitties home in a single day Kitten Palooza, held late June, was a record-breaking day at Cat Adoption Team, with almost 90 kittens and cats finding homes — the most adoptions in a single day in CAT's 16-year history. Spot sends congratulations to CAT, and the community that puts Portland among the top cities in the country for bringing about happy endings for homeless pets.

Grimm cast boosts the animals Cast members from the NBC series Grimm will appear at Race for the Rescues in Portland Sept. 28 at Portland International Raceway. The event, hosted by Columbia Humane Society, will feature a timed and competitive 5K and 10K run — open to people and their dogs — as well as a more casual 1K Dog Walk and Kids Run. Specific cast members had not been announced at press time, but Race Coordinator Melissa Cagle has been assured that “multiple celebrities will be present.” Race for the Rescues is one of Portland’s only timed races that allows dogs to participate with their people. Proceeds will benefit six area animal orgs, including Project POOCH, Fences For Fido, and Greyhound Pet Adoption Northwest. Learn more at RaceForTheRescues.org.

It’s a beautiful thing. Find out what it feels like for the two of you to be totally pampered. Join us for a cup of Starbucks® coffee and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and we’ll give you a tour of our beautiful pet hospital.

Petco and PetSmart pulling foods from China In response to consumer outcry over tainted pet food and treats made in China, two mega pet store chains are clearing their inventory of all Chinese-made treats. Petco issued a statement that all such products will be off its shelves by the end of the year, while PetSmart has vowed to rid its stores of such products by March 2015. Recent reports of dogs becoming seriously ill or dying after consuming jerky treats made in China have made pet guardians across the nation increasingly vigilant about what they feed their dogs and cats. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not officially made any specific recalls as of presstime, but the agency has been cautioning dog owners about purchasing chicken jerky products sourced in China. In a press release in May, the FDA reported it had received approximately 4,800 reports of pet illnesses possibly related to jerky treats, including more than 1,000 canine deaths. The FDA has begun a joint study with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to further investigate the issue. Learn more at fda.gov.

BrightSide thrift opens in Redmond BrightSide Animal Center, a no-kill shelter in Redmond, OR, opened a new thrift store in May. The BrightSide Thrift Store is located at 838 N.W. 5th St., next to Grocery Outlet. Offering used furniture, clothing, appliances and more, the store is open seven days a week, and helps provide financial support to the nonprofit Brightside shelter.

Gravelly Pet Project supports pet rescue Portland-based illustrated and wholesale greeting card company, Gravelly Art, has launched the new Gravelly Pet Project, which supports pet rescue organizations. So far the business has partnered with Family Dogs New Life (FDNL). Through its website, GravellyPetProject. com, the project offers products and gifts such as mugs, totes and t-shirts from which 20 percent of sales will be donated to designated rescue groups. The Project will also focus on donating products and artwork to fundraising activities. Tasha Giacomazzi, executive director of FDNL, says she is pleased about the new partnership, calling it a “fun and easy way to spread the word about pet rescue, raise extra funds for the dogs in our care, and offer awesome products to our supporters!”

DogFest Walk ‘N Roll coming in September The University of Portland campus welcomes a tail waggin’ good time at the Portland DogFest Walk N’ Roll Sept. 13. This familyand dog-friendly event will be completely accessible, and benefits Canine Companions for Independence (CCI), a nonprofit dedicated to providing assistance dogs free of charge to those in need. CCI has provided dogs for adults and children with disabilities such as spinal cord injuries, amputations, and deafness. To learn more, contact CCI.org/DogFest/Portland.

Babies in need of forever loving homes. Bo

Cheyenne

They say I’m enthusiastic, a party guy, a lover guy! Aren’t you looking for that? I knew you were! Oh, I’m Bo, and I’m learning to calm my energetic fun self and some manners — like doing great on a leash and becoming a little more secure. I’ll get there, especially with you at my side! I would love to be part of your active family — we could go everywhere together! Then, when we get home, I’m all about couch time and snuggles. Sounds perfect, right! Contact Bark@FamilyDogsNewLife.org.

Clover A perfect little bunny with a perfect bunny name, Clover has blossomed from a frightened little girl into a sweet bun who comes for pets and gentle nose scritches. She’s lived with two cats and a puppy, and does great with a litter box, even while roaming in the house. She loves to run, jump, and be with people, and would be much happier outside a pen — though she does like her “bunny box” from time to time. Her foster mom recommends that her new home have a large pen near where the family hangs out so she can have plenty of supervised run time. Contact Webmaster@RabbitAdvocates.org.

Morris Hi! They gave me a classic cat name ‘cause I’m . . . well, a classic cat! I’m a big, mellow guy who loves lying on a warm lap getting lots of pets and giving lots of purrs and loves. I do like to play with “Da Bird” from time to time, but I’m pretty content to lay low in a nice quiet home. I am diabetic, but I don’t need insulin shots, no sir! My condition is easily managed through diet, which makes life easier for both of us! How about a meet and greet? I’m at Multnomah County Animal Services. MultCoPets.org.

Well, here’s what you need to know about me — I love EVERYBODY! I’m super affectionate, love snuggles, and kisses, and cuddles, and . . . I just love everything! I really like walking and hiking and being around other humans — the more the better! I do great with other dogs, but try as I might, I don’t do well with cats. I’ve been in foster care for awhile and it’s great, but I’m just aching to be someone’s one and only. Could I be yours? Contact Bark@FamilyDogsNewLife.org.

Hightops I’m Hightops — aren’t I a handsome fella? No one can believe I’ve been here since last year! I’m a sweet, friendly guy, and I’m sure my forever family is right around the corner. You’ll excuse me if I’m a little shy, but I warm up in no time and once we’re friends, you won’t find a more devoted bff! I love chin scratches and head rubs, and I would love to come to your quiet home where I can relax and just be myself. You can come visit me at AnimalAidPDX.org; I think we’ll really hit it off! Call 503-292-6628 to ask about me, Hightops!

Jet Hey guys, I’m Jet! I’m a young guy who needs lots of regular exercise and attention. I would make a fantastic running or hiking partner! I’m doing great on my gentle leader, and after we have a couple of training classes together, we’ll team up great! I’ll probably do better if I’m your only dog, or one who can handle my nutty little personality, and I’m best with kids over age five. Come to Oregon Dog Rescue and meet me! I bet we both fall in love! 6700 SW Nyberg, Tualatin. 503-612-0111.

Mr. Lucky They call me Mr. Lucky, and I’m as sweet and handsome as they come, but I’ve been waiting for my forever family for more than a year now! I always have a bounce in my step, a smile on my face, and am eager to please! I like dogs and cats, love to play ball, am great on a leash and just an all-around great little guy! My foster mom says I’m more fun than anything on TV! I’ll do best in a home without kids, so what say you and me get together and I’ll show you what a great companion I can be! Check out my video at AnimalAidPDX.org, or call 503-292-6628.

Oliver Don’t I have a great name? I love it, and it suits me, as I’m one of the coolest, most laidback, playful guys you’ll ever meet. I love other cats and I love kids! Dogs? Not so much, but I bet that’s okay with you! My foster mom says I’m a gorgeous boy, three years young and in excellent health! I’m also kind of a rare breed, an Egyptian Mau. Cool, huh? I’m staying at a foster home with The Delicious Mickey Grrrl Fund Rescue, and I would love to meet you! Contact DeeDee at HatBox@comcast.net or call Ute at 503-516-4604.
