Carrie Clayton - Spirit Coordinator - 3rd year Carrie Clayton joined the SHC family as the school’s
Spirit Program Coordinator with responsibilities over
the Badger Cheer and Dance programs in September 2014. Before taking over the Spring Hill Spirit Pro-
grams, Clayton served as an assistant coach for the Badger dance program for one and a half years.
Clayton was an assistant coach with the University of South Alabama (USA) Prowlers Dance Team for four years after having danced for the Prowlers
while in college. She also served as the Dance Team coach at both Dawes Intermediate School and UMS-Wright Preparatory School in Mobile.
A staff member of the Universal Dance Association (UDA), Clayton has
traveled across the country as a dance instructor while working behind
the scenes at numerous national and state dance competitions. She be-
gan her professional career as a Childcare Assistant with Penelope House in 2007 after graduating from USA with a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 2010.
