ICE Education Program for Families

‘Breakthrough’ is an initiative of the Victorian Government’s Ice Action Plan. This two night program covers key issues about ice, it’s effects on the brain and body, the relationship between drug use and mental health, strategies for dealing with the ice user and access to support and resources. The program is equally suitable for both interested community members and families who are directly impacted by a loved one’s ice use. Mental Health Week Celebration

Jan Cheatley (Resident Counsellor), will facilitate an interactive program where people can share and learn from each other’s experiences. We will explore ways of improving our mental well-being and offer strategies to enhance our quality of life. We will look at the power of; Self talk, Self esteem, Mindfulness, Shifting depression and Gratitude approaches. Bring your ideas and ways of lightening the journey. M.A.P.s MORNING ACTIVITY PROGRAM FOR KIDS & PARENTS Little da Vincis: Mondays 9.30-10.00am for 3-5 yrs - Painting, drawing, cutting and pasting. Lots of fun craft activities, prepare to get messy! Bells & Beats: Tuesdays 9.30-10am and 10.30am-11am for 0-5 yrs Songs, music, movement, dance & fun with instruments Yoga for Kids: New! Tuesdays 11.30-12.00pm - fast and active play while warming up to and playing with Yoga poses. Suitable for walking to 3 year old. Move, Groove and Sing!: Wednesdays 9.30-10am for 0-5 yrs - Packed full of fun and energetic action songs and activities to get your little ones singing, moving and grooving! Music and Movement: Thursdays 9.30-10am for 0-5 yrs - A creative movement program in which children sing, dance and explore fun ways of moving to music All sessions are $3 per child—just turn up!
