A stair lift is a well-known way of staying independent in your home when you start to find that getting up the stairs is not as easy as it used to be. Attached to a rail that is fixed to your stairs, a stair lift can be installed within a matter of hours. There are different seats available to suit different users. Stair lifts are suitable for straight or curved stairs, there is even an outdoor version.

Home lift A home lift seems like a luxury you couldn’t afford – but you’d be surprised - we certainly were! These through-floor lifts can be fitted just about anywhere in your home, with a minimal amount of building work required. A home lift is attractive, discreet and quiet. Home lifts can carry up to two people and there are designs that are suitable for wheelchair users.

Stair climbers A stair climber is a less well known solution to getting up and down stairs. It is a portable ‘trolley’ fitted with rotating wheels so that it can be guided up or down stairs. The advantage of a stair climber is that you can take it with you wherever you go. You always need to have someone to guide the stair climber from behind, they do not need to be strong, as the motors of the stair climber do all the work.

Feel safer on the stairs The StairSteady acts as a support aid when both ascending and descending the stairs. It consists of a metal rail that will be attached to the wall of your stairs and a folding metal handle. The folding handle slides when pushed but locks when weight is applied to it – providing rock-solid support (up to 50 stones).
