My work begins with digital images – found images of surfaces, textures, colours, sometimes much as found but often digitally blended and transformed. Increasingly I transform these images with mixed media and collage to create larger pieces and add further layers of abstraction.

What to expect: As well as the chance to see my process and finished works, I will be working on new pieces in the studio, with the opportunity for you to make your own contribution or direct the development.

I love walking – studying the subtle or enhancing effects of light on the coast and hills for capturing on canvas. I'm currently exploring the paths we take to reach our favourite places – especially in Galloway – the way itself being infused with the charm of anticipation and association.

What to expect: A warm welcome and newest oil paintings – mostly representational but evocative. Galloway prints and 2024 calendars alongside work-in-progress, materials and bargains. Watercolours, sketchbooks and video. A “Title” competition for anyone to win a signed print. Free fridge magnets for accompanied children.

Accessibility: 90cm wide door, a small ramp up 12cm step. Ramped pavement, and street parking is free within a few metres, when there is space.
