THE GAZETTE CHARITIES–EL POMAR FOUNDATION EMPTY STOCKING FUND provides resources for local health and human service agencies in the Pikes Peak region on the front lines of helping people in crisis and assisting others in attaining self-sufficiency. Over the past 37 years, the Fund has raised more than $23 million. Administrative costs are generously covered by The Anschutz Foundation, Gazette Charities, The Gazette, El Pomar Foundation, The Bruni Foundation, PPCF, Add Staff and Wells Fargo. Thanks to their contributions, 100% of the funds raised go directly to the agencies to support our neighbors in need.

Every dollar donated to the Empty Stocking Fund grows up to 45.3 percent through matching grants.

AT GRIFFITH CENTERS FOR CHILDREN, IT IS OUR PASSION TO PROVIDE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES TO FAMILIES ACROSS COLORADO. OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDE HEALTHY AND SAFE WAYS FOR CLIENTS TO RECEIVE THE SERVICES THEY NEED DURING TIMES OF CRISIS. AS AN EMPTY STOCKING FUND PARTNER AGENCY, CARE AND SHARE FOOD BANK’S FLEET OF TRUCKS TRAVEL MORE THAN 270,000 MILES EACH YEAR TO PROVIDE NEARLY 22 MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD TO OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED ACROSS SOUTHERN COLORADO.
