Spring is here, and with it comes beautiful weather, longer days and the perfect opportunity to browse all of the new inventory in the El Paso County real estate market. What better way to welcome a fruitful year of home buying and selling than with the Pikes Peak Association of Realtors (PPAR) Open House Weekend. The event, spanning from April 29 – 30, is beneficial for Realtors, buyers and sellers alike. For buyers, this is the weekend to get out and explore different neighborhoods you’ve always been curious about. Whether you’re looking to buy a house in the near future or are just looking to get your feet wet and “window shop,” you’re presented with
a pressure-free and leisurely weekend to view gorgeous homes and weigh all of your options. Last year, more than half of the homes on the market participated in the event — that’s hundreds of homes opening their doors to the public in a single weekend. Buyers have a chance to receive expert advice from professionals in the field, and get all of their questions about homeownership answered with tips, tricks and insights. For sellers, the end of April is traditionally the start of the busy home selling season, so this is the ideal occasion to gain additional exposure. Homes participating in the Open House Weekend receive extra advertising,

By clicking the icon, the client is provided the listing as well as
a ticket that they can print out, bring to the listing and hand over to the Realtor onsite to be entered into a drawing. Participants are entered to win a $500, $250 and $100 cash prize, with additional prizes for the real estate professionals assisting the winners. This Pikes Peak Association of Realtors Open House Weekend is beneficial, informative and fun for all who take part. It sets the tone for the busy buying and selling season.
