n a summer that has been like none other, one thing remains unchanged…the renewing energy of our Madison neighborhoods. The Harvey House is a celebration of American cuisine, with fresh cooking inspired by the flavors of the region. Housed in the historic baggage handlers building in the Train Depot in downtown Madison, The Harvey House draws inspiration from the warmth and generosity of Wisconsin’s storied dining clubs, and serves as a gathering place for the community and visitors alike. Co-owners Shaina and Joe Papach bring over 20 years of restaurant industry experience to the table, and a desire to reimagine the Midwestern food of their childhoods. Madison native Shaina and Chicago-bred Joe were drawn back to the region after stints at several renowned restaurants in New York and California. Named in homage to both Shaina’s grandfather and Fred Harvey, the founder of a revolutionary chain of railroad-adjacent eateries in the early 20th century, The Harvey House is more than a passion project. It’s an extension of who they are: a family committed to hospitality and welcoming the community.

Ancora Coffee, aka Team Chas’ second office! You’ll probably spot us here enjoying a latte and lunch going over listigns and marketing plans! A local female owned and operated café, serving delicious brunch, bakery, and a wide variety of coffee drinks. We’ve spent the past couple of years revamping the Ancora brand (we are 25 years old this year!) and are so very proud to serve our supportive community in Shorewood Hills. This neighborhood is so diverse and creative, that it really makes running a business here even more special. From patio brunch hangs with friends, to cozying up in a booth with a great book, we are here to provide a safe and comfortable second home to so many in this neighborhood.
