Research Brief: American Indian/Alaskan Native Youth Suicide Risk – The Trevor
Project - This organization helps provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to 2SLGBTQIA+ young people under age 25. These services are free and confidential which can be accessed over the web, text, or phone. In addition to these services, the Trevor Project offers suicide prevention training and additional community resources. Zero Suicide in Indian Country - This framework is designed to support suicide-safer care in Native American health and behavioral health care systems. This link provides detailed information on the aspects of Native American culture and the attention necessary to provide safer suicide care.

Oklahoma School-Based Suicide Prevention – Effective July 1, 2021, all Oklahoma schools must provide suicide prevention training to teachers and staff.
