Adverse Childhood Experiences - This brief but detailed handout explains what ACEs are, what they can do, and what you can do to move forward.

National Native Children’s Trauma Center

(NNCTC) - This organization focuses on increasing service providers’ ability to respond to the traumarelated needs of Native American children and youth. The NNCTC provides training and technical assistance to those serving tribal children and youth across all systems, including schools, behavioral health providers, child welfare agencies, and juvenile justice systems.

Association of American Indian Physicians - This organization provides an ACEs toolkit that can help people understand ACEs, their effects on Native American communities, strategies for preventing and buffering against ACEs, and other resources.

Indian Country Child Trauma Center - This organization was established to develop traumarelated treatment protocols, outreach materials, and service delivery guidelines specifically designed for American Indian and Alaska Native children and their families.
