Project Overview
Currently, the Government of India is stressing on the promotion of Electric vehicles or EVs in order to combat the terror of climate change, pollution from the exhaust of ICE vehicles which is one of the major sources of air pollution, and is planning to switch to electric vehicles by 2050. It is observed that that electric vehicles are not popular among the population especially in the rural strata of the country.
Kindly note that people of rural India mostly are dependent on motorbikes and scooters for commuting and hence we shall be taking this project forward with EV scooters and why people in rural in are still hesitent to buy EV Scooters.

The overall battery packaging inside the vehicle is not balanced. Users tend to avoid riding it on the unpaved roads.
Site Visit
Due to the bulky volume of the batteries the EV scooters have very less or no space in the boot.

Interview with prospective EV Buyer
Total Ownership Cost
We also interview people who were planning to buy EV scooters but were hesitant by some or the other reason.
Before the site visit, we calculated and compared the total ownership cost of both IC engine scooter and EV scooter. We calculated the parameters of Hero Electrica optima CX single battery and Honda Activa 6g 100cc. We tried to explain them that how the total owner ship cost of an EV scooter is significantly low than the IC engine scooter.

Currently many EV two wheelers are starting to get designed according to the Indian ethnographic conditions. One of the major problems was the lack of boot space which has been tapped by changing the battery packaging of the two wheelers.
Expert Interviews
Charging user experience is one of the major problem in terms of electric scooter charging. Companies are trying to set up their own charging/ battery swap networks for better charging infrastructure and awareness.
Currently India has started the manufacturing of batteries for Electric Vehicles. That day is not far when we would get EV batteries in much cheaper prices along with longer durability.

Existing systems and design gaps
• Bolt EV charging station. Its is a peer to peer charging station.
• It is a tiny device which is connected to the main power supply.
• But it is only available to EV two wheeler community.
• That means a person who has the bolt app can only locate the charging station.
• Battery swap station for electric 2 and 3 wheelers.
• The station produces electricity by the help of solar panels.
• The swap station is situated in IOC pump.

Bolt Charging Sun Mobility
Each Solar Panel produces 1 kwh power.
Required Solar Panels
Battery stores the charge.
Each day the station has to charge 6 to 7 scooter. There fore the station requires at least 3 solar panels to meet the power demand.
**Average Global Horizontal Irradiation (GHI) in MADHYA PRADESH state is 1900 W / sq.m. 1kWp solar rooftop plant will generate on an average over the year 4.27 kWh of electricity per day (considering 5.5 sunshine hours). Adani solar calculator

Automated robot design for Bharati Robotic Systems
Project Brief
Large ware houses and workshops requires huge man power for cleaning and mopping the floors. Thus automated robots can easily save the time and the capital invested and give precise results.
Thus these autonomous robots has to be designed in such a way so that they can perform their task without interfering or hurting any human during the work hours.
