HISTORY In 1959, Richard Selje and Robert Bond cofounded Selje & Bond Design Consultants. The firm was created to provide industrial product design including architectural products, commercial furniture design, graphic design, brand development and commercial interior design. The firm later grew into Stewart, Romberger & Associates (SRA), South Pasadena.
Simultaneously, Robert W. Kite, AIA, and William Overpeck, formed Kite and Overpeck Architects, Beverly Hills. The firm became known for such iconic projects as the original design for the Ontario Motor Speedway, completed in 1970 ; Wallachs Music City, Hollywood; and 9000 Sunset Building, West Hollywood.
Inspired to follow in his father’s footsteps, Robert’s son, Brian A. Kite, formed the successor firm to Kite and Overpeck Architects known as Kite and Associates, Santa Monica where he continued with significant sports and entertainment commissions including the Lynwood Sports and Entertainment Complex; Santa Fe Springs Sports and Entertainment Complex; and the Burbank Entertainment Center.
In 2012, SRA and Kite & Associates merged to become Stewart, Romberger & Kite Architects Inc., Los Angeles. With a combined staff of more than thirty professionals, SRK’s integrated practice group has garnered some of the most interesting and challenging hospitality projects in Southern California and beyond.

The multi-story stadium holds 75-spectator seats, dugouts and locker rooms for two teams, as well as a concession stand, ticket offices ,press box, and a 1200 square foot gallery for exhibits and events.
