An Apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to earn a salary whilst gaining work experience and a nationally recognised qualification.
Embarking on an apprenticeship programme allows you to progress in your career path and become a valuable asset to current and future employers
To start an apprenticeship, you must already be in employment Apprenticeship programmes are a three-way partnership between SRUC as the training provider, your employer, and you as the apprentice
There are a range of apprenticeships at different levels available to anyone aged over 16 The most common entry level programme is a modern apprenticeship This can be suited to those progressing from a college course, career changers or school leavers, as a progression from senior phase subjects or SRUC’s school level courses
Apprenticeships normally take between 1–3 years to complete SRUC deliver a range of apprenticeships including agriculture, land-based engineering, forestry, horticulture, gamekeeping, equine, conservation, greenkeeping and vet nursing
