CONCEPTUAL SITE ZONING:Site has been divided into two half-one which is more private and semi private zones contains Residential cottages, suites, yoga center swimming pool. Spa and sauna in a peace and serene interaction with the nature and an attempt has been made to maximize view potential to lake. Major access to the site from eastern side so more Semi public and Public areas are taken in adjacency with the entrance, which also help in minimizing with the circulation path and distance of these to the parking lot. These areas include Reception, Restaurant, Meeting rooms, Banquet hall which is meant to serve a varied kind of activity user groups is provided with an alternate entry so as not to disturb. Major administrative and back-of-house areas are having their accessibility from northern side of the site acting as a service entry for the resort. Lagoon and landscaping which interacts with the cottage and suites has been suggested in the design proposal.

ASETHETICS APPEARANCE • • • •

The design concept was conceived as Ancient Kerala architecture which is giving the traditional look and have superior in design Aesthetically it has good appearance . As per the context dark green to visually reduce the scale and blend. All the building having huge glass window and thatch roof which resist the heat.

DESIGN ANALYSIS:• The resort is constructed in completely Kerala Traditional style. • All the building having pitched roof and thatch has been applied to give ancient traditional Kerala village looks. • It has all the facilities to spend their leisure time. • Each room having view of the sea. • Staff area has been located centrally to avoid the public movements.

The analysis will be everything that comes out of the research and what the research means. To present the research there will be diagrams to visually see the research. Also, there would be analysis done for different parts of the project. Those analysis would be made up of economic analysis, activity analysis, space analysis, economic analysis and zoning analysis. The analysis will help fine tune details later in the design intent and methodology process.

The most signature part of Kerala’s buildings is the overwhelming scale, pyramidal and slopping roof. Particularly in South Kerala, roofs are mostly furnished with wooden gable end In general the design is almost a variant of architectural vocabulary of roof design in particularly Lesser Sunda and Java. The most feature is that like in Java and Thailand, the design is elaborately constructed mainly in a wooden structure using fabricated components. One type of gable were also found in the precise shape as that in Golden Palace, Bangkok, Thailand. Specifically it resembles a roof type recorded by Dumarcay in Batambong, Cambodia and in available12. In South Asia the trace of existence of a wooden construction was depicted in relief of central Indian Buddhist, Hindu and Jain temple wall and Pallava temples of Mahabalipuram.

Design Intent The design intent would be based on the results from the research and analysis gathered. The design would be based on the main reason for developing an Adirondack resort. Also, coming up with a program for the resort would provide good design intent. The whole project would be broken down into different phases. Another part that would take place would be coming up with a schedule to show how all the phases of the project will take place and layout.

BASIC CONSTRUCTION OF ROOF TRUSS:Roof trusses are characterized by an economic use of construction materials (timber, steel). Composed of individual lightweight pieces, a truss can also provide considerable advantage in transport and assembly as compared to conventional roof structures. On the other hand, trusses are more labor-intensive and require connection devices. However, if a greater number of identical trusses can be manufactured, then considerable economies of scale can be achieved.

APPLYING CONCEPT OF ANCIENT TRADITIONAL STYLE ARCHITECTURE:Applying concept of Ancient Kerala Architecture in designing every cottage ,bar ,family room and every roof.

FAMILY COTTAGE AREA The most distinctive visual form of Kerala architecture is the long, steep sloping roof built to protect the house's walls and to withstand the heavy monsoon, normally laid with tiles or thatched labyrinth of palm leaves, supported on a roof frame made of hard wood and timber.

VARIOUS SKETCH TO SHOW MY DESIGN CONCEPT

Conclusion The proposal of an Lake resort will focus on research and analysis which will help collaborate information for the final design of the project. The outcome of this project will provide an excluded resort in an area that gets a great amount of tourism. With providing jobs for the local residents. It will also help boost the economy for local businesses and restaurants in the area and surrounding areas.

INTERIOR DESIGN AND 3D VIEW

TWO BEDROOM COTTAGE INTERIOR:-

Soothing dĂŠcor , warm aesthetics and graceful elegance natural richness in every amenity every details I am using here traditional Kerala style interior, with lake view. The style of minimalism is a design approach that is characterized by austerity and laconism in decoration. It is mainly achieved through the use of functional furniture and interior objects, geometric shapes and a combination of usually not more than two basic colors. It is extremely important in such design to correctly divide the space. Minimalist interiors are usually compact, black or gray, and have a strict geometric shape.

•Table, sofa, furniture, and chandeliers in the style of minimalism have a simple geometric shape. Forms are allowed with a slight bend, but not a spiral. •Artsy decor and ornaments are not a choice. Walls can be decorated with a couple of minimalistic paintings.
