Jeremiah Biggs
During my time here at St. Stephen's and St. Agnes I have improved at wrestling far more than I believed I could. One of my biggest achievements of this season winning and being recognized as outstanding wrestler at the Holiday Classic. After I graduate I plan to continue staying involved with wrestling because through wrestling, I have learned the importance of perseverance and discipline, which well help me later in life. I am grateful for and will remember the connections that I have made with coaches and teammates through wrestling.
Giancarlo Gamarra
I have stepped outside my comfort zone during my time here at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes, mainly wrestling. Initially, I picked up wrestling simply to try something new. I knew that trying something entirely new for me in my senior year would be difficult; however, I wouldn’t let that stop me from giving it my best attempt. I didn’t let excuses of less experience or technique stop me from trying. I went into my matches and fought hard which is all I asked of myself. Wrestling is a physical reminder that heart, dedication, and fight can take you far which is true in both sports and life. When you have nothing else to give, you need to find it within you to keep going which is what I love about the sport. After I graduate I plan to pursue a higher education. As to where i’ll do that, I have no idea yet.
Aiden Koch
I am two sport athlete and a two time state placer in wrestling. I have been team captain of the wrestling team for two years now. The team has been growing and I am proud to help lead this years team to 20 dual wins, the most in school history. I believe a lot of success is to come. I couldn't have accomplished all of this without the help of Coach Humphreys, this amazing program, and my family. I will not be continuing with wrestling but will be pursuing engineering. I will always remember the unique teams that have come through St. Stephens and St. Agnes and all the friends and I have made along the way. Each team has made me a better person and leader and I am forever thankful for that. It has been an amazing four years and I can’t wait to see what everyone will end up doing in the future.
James Blackman
During my time here at St. Stephen's and St. Agnes I have earned multiple honors like the Holiday Classic Champion and VISAA State Finalist. I am a VAWAFresstyle State Champion and got the chance to represent the State in Tulsa National Duals and Fargo National Chamionships in Greco and Freestyle. This year I am most proud of achieing my 100th win during my senior year. After I graduate I plan to wrestle D1.
