Why Egypt? Egypt’s health system lacks many factors, but it certainly compiles some of the best physicians, along with some of the best and oldest leading medical schools in the Middle East. Egypt has an ancient history and a civilization that stems from thousands of years, built over rich historical eras. Lying between two seas makes Egypt unique for its variety of beaches, sea sports and beautiful sights of corals & aquatic life. Compelling traditions, many different cultures, and an amazing atmosphere combined with an exciting nightlife and a variety of dining choices means a visit to Egypt will easily become a lifetime experience.
Why Cairo? Kasr Al-Ainy School of Medicine is one of the oldest medical schools in Africa and the Middle East. It is situated in Cairo; the city at the bifurcation of the Delta and in the center of Egypt making the Capital an excellent destination for your visit. With over 3,000 Staff members and over 6,000 beds for inpatient care, Kasr AlAiny Teaching Hospitals are without doubt one of the best hosts accepting medical students to observe and indulge in clinical courses and case studies. In Cairo you can browse through all the different historical eras of Egypt. The Egyptian museum, Islamic museum, Citadel of Salah Eldeen, Pyramids of Giza (South of Cairo) are spots you should never miss. When it comes to religious history, Cairo is known as the City of the 1000 minaret and endorses El Azhar El Shareef. El Azhar El shereef is the main centre of Islamic studies in the Middle East. Along with the Coptic Church; which was established since the Apostolic time and has been standing for about 2000 years, there are over a hundred ancient churches and monasteries. It provides peace to the mind, to the heart, and to the soul. The Religion Complex in ancient Cairo (Masr el Qadeema) contains seven ancient Churches; Saint George Church, the Hanging Church, the Coptic museum and Babylon Fort. The cosmopolitan city is known as the city that NEVER sleeps. It is certainly the main destination for entertainment. Yet you get to experience simplicity of the Egyptians, with hundreds of CafĂŠs around each corner where people socialize and watch TV while playing some board games and enjoying every bit of it. All the good and bad things about Cairo ensure that it will be a very unique experience.

Si Sinai, the only land-bridge between Asia and Africa, and the onna i& ly part of Egypt that lies in Asia. Lying between the two gulfs of the Da Red Sea from the south, and the ha Mediterranean Sea to its north, the b Sinai peninsula is not only a very strategic geopolitical location, but is also the catalogue of the most beautiful scenes you can merit your eyes with.
2015
You should never miss going up 7,497 feet to reach the top of Mount Sinai and visit the Greek Orthodox Chapel built at the top of the mountain. If you watch the sky, you will realize that you are in one of the best spots of stargazing you can ever reach. You will never have to wait for more than 20 seconds to see the amazing view of meteor sailing across the sky. Stargazing usually ends by drifting into a peaceful sleep to be awaken by the moment everyone anticipates, sunrise. That is one view that if any person tries to de-scribe, will do you no good, it is way prettier than any person can visualize. After that you’ll get the chance to dive down many meters in the red sea to enjoy the relaxing colors of corals and discover numerous types of fish. A well-known spot that extends up to 130m deep is the Blue Hole, a few kilometers north of Dahab. This is what gives a trip to Sinai its special change of altitude. A Bedouin night is one you would always enjoy in Sinai. Speeding between mountains in Jeeps to reach a place usually on the foot of a mountain, where Arab Bedouins built tents you stay in while delicious meals get prepared, or you could obey the rush in you and dance to the collection of music they play. In addition to a collection of sea sports you can enjoy along with different clubs that are open all night, so if you don’t see it already, what makes the value of a visit to Sinai is that it has everything needed to enjoy your time.

An 864.2 km journey is only worth it when the destination is Aswan. Interacting with the citizens of Aswan is like nothing you have experienced before.

The Aswanians will turn out to be the kindest, most friendly people you may ever meet. They always say: “it’s because, inside is white” pointing at their chests. The beautiful city that lies on the river Nile banks and north of the High Dam, is where you get to see the Botanical Garden, the Elephantine Temple and enjoy the hospitality of the Nubians where you get to see live crocodiles being kept as pets in their villas. Aswan bazars are some of the best to get some souvenirs to take back home. The journey then extends down 230 more kilometers to reach the breathtaking view of Abu Simbel Temples. The Twin temples, built during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II dating back to the 13th century and salvaged from the rising waters of the Nile back in the 60s, are an enigma of time. After this unforgettable trip, you only get to rest back in Luxor. Luxor, the ancient capital of the pharaohs for several dynasties, is the home of the world’s largest temple to date “Karnak Temple”. There you get to stay in a relaxing hotel and enjoy swimming in the hot climate of the south. In Luxor you get to see many temples; including Hatshepsut temple, Karnak temple, Luxor temple, the valley of Kings and the valley of queens (tombs of the ancient Pharaohs). There is much more to Luxor that you can visit, depending on your taste for enjoying the trip. If our Summer School doesn’t leave you wanting to come back and experience Egypt for one more time, this trip will sure leave you wanting more!
