EAST ART GALLERY JANUARY : SEAN SHEPPARD * SILVER CROW STUDIOS Sean Van Sheppard, an accomplished artist recognized for his decorative, fine art works that are collected by notable celebrities.

Sheppard creates a variety of artwork including vintage-style impressionist paintings, murals, and heavily textured abstracts.

STARTING POINT JANUARY 21 - FOLLOWING SERVICE If you’re new or newer to St. Luke’s join us immediately after service for Starting Point, a 30-minute orientation to St. Luke’s. You’ll meet others who are new and leave with next steps to help you find your place here. This is a great way to become familiar with who we are and how we live out our faith.

Wonder what to do with your

loved one’s belongings? Feel like your brain is in a fog? Unsure of how you’ll go on? Join us for GriefShare a 13-week study that lets you find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one. All are welcome to gather to find loving support, share resources, and encouragement along their journey. Individuals attending the Caregivers Support Group may care for loved ones in any capacity (whether at home, in care facility, or from a distance). Register at stlukesumc.com/ events DEMENTIA FRIENDS SUPPORT GROUP THIRD SATURDAY OF THE MONTH - 10AM, ZOOM The Dementia Friends Workshop seeks to build awareness of and break down stigmas surrounding various forms of dementia and implement practical changes that make life easier to navigate for those with dementia and their loved ones. Sign up at stlukesumc.com/events YOUTH WINTER RETREAT FEBRUARY 2-3 - EPWORTH RETREAT CENTER One of the most important and impactful ways we can grow our faith is through retreat. We are taking students in grades 5-12 off campus for a one-night winter retreat at Epworth Forest Conference Center. MS & HS students will have their own separate sleeping spaces and many of the activities will be separate, but we’ll do some big celebrations all togethers! This is a time of rest, renewal, and rejuvenation of our faith. We will meet at the lodge at 5:30PM on Friday and we will return by 8:30PM on Saturday. CHANGE THE WORLD TEEN RESPONDERS MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP MARCH 10 FROM 2-4:30 | THE LODGE Teen Responders is hosting our Teen Mental Health Workshop! This workshop is designed to help teens have the tools, skills, and resources to care well for their own mental health and respond to their peers in need. We also have an adult workshop happening simultaneously in a different room in the building, which helps adults be empowered to care well for the mental health of the teens in their lives.
