STATIONS OF THE CROSS - NORTH INDY, NARTHEX

NOW THRU GOOD FRIDAY

During Lent, Christians have walked the way of the cross as a spiritual practice for centuries to prepare for Holy Week and Easter. “Everyone’s Way of the Cross” invites you to go through the stations at your own pace. Stop at each station in or just stop at the ones that draw you in. Go slowly. Linger to allow the Spirit of God to use these experiences to speak uniquely to you. Open March 17-29, any time the church is open.

Litany of Confession / Assurance of Pardon

Leader: Merciful God, for the ways we would rather join the crowds than stand alone.

All:Forgive us, Lord.

Leader: For the ways we choose apathy rather than advocate for justice and truth.

All: Forgive us, Lord.

Leader: For choosing safety and security instead of embracing the risk of following you.

All: Forgive us, Lord.

Leader: Let us now silently lift up our personal prayers of confession.

Leader: Hear the good news: the Lord brings hope to those in darkness and peace to those in distress. The steadfast love of the Lord endures forever. In the name of Jesus, you are forgiven.
