EAST ART GALLERY - MARCH: SALLY NIERMAN
Growing up in St. Charles, IL, Sally’s favorite time was going to the Art Institute of Chicago to visit her “friends” Picasso, Matisse, Seurat, and Henry Moore. After retiring from 24 years of teaching Sally gave herself the perfect retirement gift: weekly oil painting lessons. Sally enjoys painting landscapes, waterscapes & flowers. The creation of impressions of nature and the evolving colors of the subject(s) as the work moves forward that make painting exciting and deeply satisfying for her.

How do diapers connect to infant mortality? (hint: they don’t... not exactly) How can I connect to groups who are working to improve maternal & child health? Come hear answers to all of these questions and more at the St. Luke’s City Impact Symposium on Maternal & Child Health, where expert speakers will share the latest statistics, research, and actions around this topic. A hands-on service project and guided prayer opportunity will help us take action. For more information and to register visit: stlukesumc.com/cityimpact
I LOVE MY CITY - A DAY OF SERVICE!
APRIL 20 - ALL CAMPUSES AND AROUND THE CITY!
Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment was. He replied “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. And love your neighbor as yourself.” We are called to love our neighbors, no exceptions. That is why every year St. Luke’s focuses on bringing hope to the world by serving our local community. Join us for I Love My City as we gather servants of all ages and send them out into Indianapolis (and beyond) to serve and give back together. Because one day can make a world of difference! Registration is OPEN at stlukesumc.com/city
ORDER OF WORSHIP

Bringing in the Light | Lilly Davis
Welcome | Rev. Rob Fuquay
Opening Hymn | Praise to the Lord, the Almighty #139 (1,2,4,5)
Prayer of Confession / Assurance of Pardon
All: Holy God, giver of blessings, forgive us when we fail to acknowledge you as the source of all good. Forgive us when we fail to trust that you will provide, when we hoard what you have given us, when we ignore the bounty around us, and when we are blind to the good. Hear us now as we bring our own prayers to you...
Leader: Hear the good news! God, our provider, hears our prayers and forgives us for the ways we fall short and fail to trust. In the name of Jesus Christ you are forgiven.
All: In the name of Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. Amen.
