Jim Curry began taking art lessons 20 years ago. Much of his work is inspired by his rural upbringing in Switzerland County, Indiana and his European travels. He also paints weekly with the St. Luke’s Studio 3 art group. He will be in the gallery today for a meet & greet.

CHARGE CONFERENCE

Join us for our annual Charge Conference today. Lunch will start at 12:15 in Great Hall with the business meeting at 1:00PM in Robertson Chapel. Pre-registration was required for lunch. The business meeting includes presenting the new slate of Administrative Committee members. Senior Pastor, Rob Fuquay will report on this past year in ministry.

ANGEL TREE

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21 - NORTH INDY

Our 2024 Angel Tree Outreach is underway! We have invited 125 families with over 315 children to shop at our Angel Tree “store” on December 21. Angel Tree also provides gifts for 200 homeless youth at Outreach, Inc. and this year, our Diaper Pantry families will receive a Wal-Mart giftcard and a stocking for each child. There are multiple ways you can support Angel Tree this Christmas. You can buy gifts, you can volunteer your time, or you can make a donation. Cold weather is here and we need your help to support our neighbors! From now until Christmas, we are collecting cold weather gear for our friends at Fletcher Place and the Homeless Veterans of Indiana. We are collecting warm blankets (new), adult-sized winter coats (new or like-new), adult-sized warm socks, hats, and gloves, adult-sized underwear and socks (new), and adult sleeping bags (new or gently used). Drop off your donations in the bin in West Passage anytime between now and Christmas!

Rush Trainer on the death of his brother, Todd Trainer, who passed away on November 15th. Memorial services took place on Friday, November 22nd at St. Luke’s.

Marsha Thompson on the death of her Husband, Lann Thompson, who passed away on November 8th. Memorial Services will take place on December 7th at 11am at St. Luke’s.
