LET IT BEGIN WITH ME 53. OLD RIP VAN WINKLE 53. 10-YEAR BOURBON, 107 PROOF

From Buffalo Trace, Old Rip Van Winkle Handmade Bourbon 10 Year Old 107 Proof bourbon is bottled as close to barrel proof as possible. We add just a splash of our Kentucky limestone well-water when we emptythe barrels for bottling. Thus, this whiskey is as smooth as any you will find. The suggested retail price of $69.99 is deceptively low; due to the extremely limited nature of Old Rip Van Winkle, Buffalo Trace cannot guarantee that retailers will have inventory at any one time. This is an exceptionally hard-tofind bourbon for discerning palates. Sipwhiskey. com lists this bottle for $899.99, Paragonspirits. com sells theirs for $799.99, while Beveragelovers. com comes down to a low of $599.99 (but it’s sold out). Tasting Notes: See a rich, copper color. Smell enticingly sweet, spicy, caramel-nut-fudge aromas. Enjoy a fruity, medium-to full-bodied palate with intense dried fruit and toasted nuts notes. Each sip finishes with a very long, bold wave of peppery brown spices, floral honey and charred barrel flavors that balance the weight of the alcohol. Its a big, bold, aged bourbon that has great balance for its high proof and flavor.

60. WINE FOR A YEAR: TWELVE BOTTLES 60.

J Vineyards California Pinot Noir 2016: 2016: aromatic notes of exotic spice, cherry preserves, and black tea. Enjoy this wine with roasted leg of lamb with a balsamic-fig reduction or cranberry-glazed roast turkey breast with creamy mushroom risotto. Bell Wine Cellars Big Guy Red 2014: 2014: Cabernet sauvignon from Lodi lays the firm foundation, with Syrah from the Sierra Foothills and Central Coast lending ripe, luscious fruit to the nose and a juicy, delicious palate. This is a wine for every day drinking, whether on its own, on the patio with barbeque, or in the dining room with roasted duck. Bold tropical notes of citrus, grapefruit and pineapple introduce this Sauvignon Blanc. Floral aromas complement the refreshing flavors. Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon 2017: 2017: This is the wine that started it all, setting the exacting standards that Josh Cellars hold themselves to for all of their varietals. Round and juicy, our Cabernet Sauvignon has flavors of blackberry, toasted hazelnut and cinnamon. Meiomi Pinot Noir 2017: 2017: A rich garnet color with a ruby edge, the wine opens to reveal lifted fruit aromas of bright strawberry and jammy fruit, mocha, and vanilla, along with toasty oak notes. It pairs particularly well with tomato-based pasta dishes, thin-crust pizza, grilled lamb, and turkey. Tribute Cabernet Sauvignon 2016: 2016: Dark juicy fruits like currant, black cherry and cassis give way to earthy notes of tea and spice. Well integrated tannins give the wine a long, velvety finish. This Portuguese sparkling wine is lightly effervescent, with a lively acidity. Lime and peach flavors with aromas of citrus and saline. Pair with scampi or light starters like pineapple and shrimp toasts, and compliments beautifully any seafood dishes such as sushi or sea bass. Purple Cowboy Tenacious Red Blend 2015: 2015: Tastes like crushed berries with a dusting of cocoa powder. Yummy with a heaping plate of barbecued Tri-tip, chile beans, garlic bread and a green salad. Conundrum White Blend 2016: 2016: This blend features scents of honeysuckle, wildflowers and lemon blossoms, layered with star fruit, honeydew and a trace of flinty gunpowder. Try it with a roast chicken breast accented with pickled scallions, water chestnuts, celery, cilantro, and a splash of chili oil.

With $250, I would buy book sets for my Literature Circles.

117. MRS. KIRKPATRICK: $250 WISH Mrs. Kirkpatrick would use $250 to purchase math manipulatives and STEM building activities for her Math with Friends Shelf.

118. MRS. BERTANI: $250 WISH

I would use $250 toward an iPad that can support an Apple Pencil so that I can better illustrate the stories I tell students in Spanish on Google Jamboard

119. MRS. PAULA SNEAD: $250 WISH

$250 would purchase new soccer goals for outdoor play and new games for indoor active play when rainy and plus chapter books for sustained silent reading.

120. MRS. LECKENBY: $250 WISH With $250, Mrs. Leckenby will buy supplemental materials for science experiments.

121. MRS. WILKINS: $500 WISH

126. CHAPEL A/V: $500 WISH

Mr. Carey and Ms. Miscio have worked diligently to maintain the community and connection of our daily chapel services. Current broadcasts rely on Google Slides, Keynote, and Mr. Carey’s ingenuity - which is impressive! $500 would provide a significant software upgrade to the ProPerformer presentation software ($399) which would greatly improve the professional quality and smoothness of chapel and other school functions. A dedicated Chromebox computer ($99 promotional price) would provide an easier-to-use option for teachers needing A/V in the chapel for smaller gatherings, such as movie watching, dancing or games requiring a larger physical space.

127. MRS. MARSHALL: $500 WISH

With $250, Mrs. Wilkins will purchase wobble chairs for kids who need to move and have difficulty sitting still. No more sitting in a little uncomfortable desk for nearly half a day!

$500 would provide an entire reading corner makeover: book-themed valences for the windows, a cubby-style bookcase with 12 baskets for organizing her classroom library, a large bookcase print rug for the floor, and a child-sized sofa.

122. MRS. BARRETT: $500 WISH

128. MRS. LECKENBY:

II will purchase STEM material activities and STEM kits from a website such as www.kiwico.com

123. MRS. CLARK: $500 WISH

$500 will purchase outdoor furniture so we have tables and chairs on the Upper Primary patio for the whole class.

124. MRS. PRITCHETT: $500 WISH $500 would fund specific shelves and seating for my classroom library.

125. MRS. BERTANI: $500 WISH

With $500, I would purchase high-quality flexible seating that is comfortable and inviting for students to sit in while they listen to stories in Spanish. Ideally the seating would besectional and could be arranged in different configurations to fit the oddly shaped Spanish classroom.

$500 WISH With $500, Mrs. Leckenby plans to classroom STEAM kits and reusable resources.
