The Packaging The yearbook will consist of four smaller publications highlighting the different areas of graphic design and another for the index. The booklets to be contained by an outer cover displaying the course information.

Embossing / Debossing A blind emboss will be used to display the year and course information on the cover, which will be made from a thick, dense stock such as pulp or grey board. The use of specialist processes are to display the diverse skill set and potential of the programme.

Stock Choices Each booklet cover will be printed onto a different coloured stock to differentiate between the multiple disciplines within graphic design. This is both informative to prospective applicants and an efficient way to navigate through the different publications.

As previously mentioned the year book will be divided into 5 sections with a sleave holding the books together. The four main books, Editorial/Publishing, Typography/ Layout, Image, Branding/Identity and Packaging will have a similar layout as they will essentially have the same content.

Binding If budget and time do notallow for the production of five individual booklets and case, then a publication will be bound using the same variations of stock. The cover will also be made from the same thick stock as the case.
