Welcome to Stable View’s Eventing Academy.
T h e Fi r s t An n i v e r s a r y of th e Ev e n t i n g Ac a d e m y . Over the last year we have been amazed at the positive support we have received for this series! We have seen many new faces. Some of the riders have become regulars. We have welcomed the young, the not-so-young, those who have always wanted to and the seasoned professionals. We feel that Stable View's Eventing Academy has
earned it's place in the schooling event lineup in Aiken. In our first year, we had over
440 entries, with approximately 200 of those new Riders have shown at Stable View as a result of the Academy.
Over the last year, Mogie Bearden-Muller has designed each Cross Country Course to
be different, and by using different real estate has ensured that different questions are being asked of each horse and each rider each time. We are also changing around
Stadium and Dressage. Stadium Jumping will now be in the grass and closer to Cross Country. Dressage will be in the Attwood Equestrian Surfaces Arenas. By introducing different Course Designers in Stadium, and using different parts of Stable View for Dressage we believe that we are keeping the series fresh and fun.
Remember that we go through changes here, thus each Eventing Academy will be different. Also remember (as we go into Spring!), that next Christmas we will be
celebrating again with the Eventing Academy Awards Ceremony. Anne Dearborn has been working very hard behind the scenes and the prizes on offer from some very
generous Sponsors will be worth competing for. Take a look at our Sponsor's page to see who has already sponsored us for the year-end prizes.
