welcome
Dear friends,
We'd like to welcome you today to Stable View's Eventing Academy.
Mogie's cross country course is going to be quite a challenge with, using her words, "more difficult questions being asked that are appropriate for this time of year" as riders continue to progress in their training Beth Perkins' stadium course will also be significantly different from August's EA.
VTO Saddlery will be here with its full assortment of equipment on Saturday and Sunday. Also joining us this weekend on vendor row is Purvida Healthy Horse with a botanical themed trailer filled with all natural grooming products
A gentle reminder ... we have one more Eventing Academy left in the 2022 series, November 18 20. Individual and Trainer points accumulated throughout the year (December through November) are totaled up for the Eventing Academy Year End Awards in November, with upwards of $20,000 in prizes. You can view current standings on our Results page at svfequestrian com
For anyone new to our Eventing Academies, they start on Friday with just schooling for Cross Country, and continue on Saturday with the opportunity to school Dressage, Stadium, and Cross Country. On Sunday, the day is designed to simulate a recognized H.T., (without the pressure!), however entry fees remain at schooling prices You can expect an Announcer, Judges, an event Program, and all Cross Country fences are staked, leveled and decorated
This Saturday evening you are invited to our signature Graze and Gaze downstairs in the Pavilion where you will find refreshments to complement a fun weekend of riding and fellowship.
It's great that you're here.
With very best wishes for three days of Eventing,
The Stable View Team

Capall Pulse Therapy
The benefits of PEMF therapy for horses include but are not limited to faster recovery, improved performance, increased microcirculation and improved suppleness. This crosses over to humans as well. We also receive benefits of reduced anxiety, immune system support and repairing damaged tissue. Capall Pulse Therapy offers low frequency and high frequency treatments for both equine and human athletes.

FREE TO BEE
Having started in early spring with five nucleus colonies (also known as "nucs") from a local bee supplier, Stable View's bees have grown to eleven, almost twelve, hives with healthy queens Over the summer, we have supported the bees' efforts to build up and prepare for winter. Our goal is to contribute to healthy pollinators in our area, and share the sweet fruits of their labor!
A BIRDER'S PARADISE
This time last year, Stable View had one resident Red Cockaded Woodpecker Today, we have ten (six adults and four juveniles)! Additionally, by increasing our number of nest boxes we have helped many of our feathered friends thrive: this year, we have fledged 200+ Eastern Bluebirds (an increase of 50% compared to last year); a pair of Eastern Screech Owls fledged two young; and the American Kestrels fledged all five nestlings from the same nest box as in previous years
According to our expert, Mark Pavlosky of MPJ Wildlife, we expect to observe many migrant species working their way South early this fall.
We look forward to hosting bird watchers who wish to view native, rare, or endangered species on their lists!
HISTORICALLY, "A GATHERING PLACE"
Set out afoot or ahoof on our 15 miles of marked trails, each named in honor of local Native American tribes, where you may see evidence of our prescribed fires, which increase plant diversity, perpetuate endangered species, allow wildlife easier access to food sources, restore nutrients back into the soil, and reduce the risk of wildfires
