Setting A deserted mansion. New England, 1954. The classic board game is brought to life in Clue: On Stage! Six guests are invited to a dinner party thrown by an anonymous host. What follows is a madcap, slapstick evening full of murder, mystery, and laughs. There will be a 20-minute intermission.

Characters Wadsworth

a traditional British butler/housekeeper in every sense, uptight, formal, and “by the book.” Yvette a sexy French maid with her own secret aspirations. Miss Scarlet a dry, sardonic DC madam who is more interested in secrets than sex. Mrs. Peacock the churchgoing wife of a senator. A bit batty, neurotic, and quick to hysteria. Mrs. White a pale, morbid, and tragic woman. Mrs. White may or may not be the murderer of her five ex-husbands. Colonel Mustard a puffy, pompous, dense blowhard of a military man. Professor Plum an academic Casanova who woos women with his big…brain. Mr. Green a timid, yet officious, rule follower. He is a bit of klutz and awfully anxious. The Cook a threatening presence. Mr. Boddy a slick James Bond type fella. The Motorist a benign gentleman who rings the wrong doorbell. The Cop a “regular” Joe. Singing Telegram Girl a sweet young thing who rings the wrong doorbell. FBI Agents FBI agents who help save the day.

Glen Bartram (Mr. Boddy, Cop, Agent) has been performing regularly since high school. He had such a wonderful time in college performing, and was so fantastic at it, that he became a successful Computer Systems Engineer. He is highly skilled in VMware, RSA Multi-Factor Authentication, and Windows Active Directory. In his spare time, he enjoys training marsupials and overthrowing unfriendly regimes. Wait... this is supposed to be Glen’s THEATRE bio. Crap! Do-over! Do-Over!! (Love to Deb, Best. Producer. EVAR!!) Addie Schafer Benko (Yvette) is a Loudoun teacher and native who has worked with StageCoach Theatre for 6 years. She is excited to play Yvette in the first StageCoach Theatre stage production of Clue. She is the theatre director at Woodgrove High School at the.grove.theatre in Purcellville. She has performed and directed shows throughout Loudoun and the DMV area working with all ages both professionally and educationally. She also gives private lessons to students looking to improve skills or prepare for auditions. Dino Coppa, Sr. (Col. Mustard) has played David O’Selznick in Moonlight & Magnolias (WATCH award, Best Featured Actor, 2010), Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof (Best Actor, DC Metro Theatre Arts, 2016), Max Bialystok in The Producers (Best Actor, DC Metro Theatre Arts, 2015), Nathan Detroit in Guys & Dolls, and Moonface Martin in Anything Goes. Dino thanks his wife Amy, kids Pierce, Anna, Dino Jr, and Angelina, and granddaughter Zoey for the never-ending love and support!

Phil Erickson (Professor Plum) appears in his first StageCoach Theatre production. He has appeared previously with RRRT, SP, RCP and others. Favorite roles include Henry Higgins (Pygmalion), Atticus Finch (To Kill a Mockingbird), Richard Hannay (The 39 Steps), and Ebenezer Scrooge (A Christmas Carol). A co-founder of the "Wise Guys Comedy Auction Team," he considers his comic home to be Richmond’s old Main Street Grill which offered a spicy blend of music, politics, vegetarian food, and irreverent humor. Penny Hauffe (Mrs. Peacock) is new to StageCoach Theatre and delighted to be part of this dedicated and dynamic team. Previous stage appearances have been with RRRT, Po8, GGT, BITWC, and AST. Some of her favorite roles include Eliza in Pygmalion, Lettice in Lettice and Lovage, and Mrs. Prism in The Importance of Being Earnest. Sharing the limelight with her husband, Phil Erickson, doubles the fun of rehearsals and shows. See www.ppactingtalent.com for more.

Carleigh Jones (Cook, Motorist, Singing Telegram Girl) has been in one or two productions over the years but is very excited for her first show at StageCoach Theatre. Favorite roles include Goose (Charlotte's Web, RBT), Sakini (The Teahouse of the August Moon, LMP), and Costanza (Enchanted April, GAC). Right now Carleigh is into dinosaurs, tea, and telling stories. Thanks for supporting our playtime!

Allen McRae (Wadsworth) is very excited to be a part of this show. (Frankly, he's excited just to be out of the house.) He has appeared on Broadway as Jefferson in the hit show Hamilton. Oh wait, it was The Hamilton Murders here at StageCoach Theatre. But he was Jefferson. He's appeared in several other StageCoach productions, as well as other regional productions, including Midsummer Night’s Dream, Deathtrap, Blithe Spirit, and California Suite.

Arista Michelle (Ms. Scarlet) returns to stage after 10 years. Her most recent shows were in Tucson: My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle), Little Shop of Horrors (doo-whop girl), and Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy Park). She dedicates this show to her late father, Albert Bangwa, and those who lost the battle to COVID-19. Arista thanks her kids for helping memorize her lines. Thanks to friends, family, and all who've come to support the show. GOD BLESS YOU!

Alexa Yarboro Pettengill (Mrs. White) is so thrilled to be back at StageCoach Theatre to bring to life one of her favorite movies. You may have seen Alexa last as the murderous Aggie Wheeler in RCP’s The Games Afoot. Or perhaps here at StageCoach as the killer archaeologist Sandy Diggs in Murder on the British Express. Alexa is excited to finally be playing an innocent character. Much love to her family for their continued love, support, and alibis.

Joshua Aaron Poole (Mr. Green) makes his debut with StageCoach Theatre. Previous credits include: Buck Barrow in Bonnie and Clyde, and Harry Houdini/ensemble in Side Show (TTL); Mr. Wormwood in Matilda and Old Man in A Christmas Story (LMT); and Lumière in Beauty and the Beast (CFTC). He would like to thank everyone involved with this production, his family and friends for their undying support, and God for his talents and the opportunity to continue to pursue his dream. Creative Team and Production Staff Bios Deborah Bartram (Producer) is thrilled to be producing her first show at StageCoach Theatre! She has previously been seen on stage here in Killer Harmony, Fatal Error, and Comic Book Murders. Deb has played many roles in local community theatre, from music director to running crew, and previously served on the Board of Directors of Sterling Playmakers. Deb thanks the theatre for bringing Glen into her life! Barbara D. Carpenter (Director) hangs out at StageCoach a LOT. If she isn't directing or acting, she's checking in patrons or just finishing off bottles of wine left behind. She is currently fielding offers to become a trophy wife. Please provide resume, headshot and bank statements. Kat Brais (Director and Makeup/Hair) seems to be at StageCoach a lot too! She has directed all of the past three Valentine's Cabarets (and also the one coming up in 2021) and is happy to be co-directing the first full length production here, with her lifetime friend Barbara. Mary Ann Hall (Stage Manager) is happy to be back working with Kat and Barbara and StageCoach Theatre. This will be her fourth show with StageCoach Theatre and hopes it will not be the last. A heart felt thank you goes to the production crews who have always made her job so easy and enjoyable. She has the best family in the world, since they support her theatre hobby 100%! Matthew Choyce (Broadcast Engineer) is an Event Production Manager, Broadcast Engineer, Show Caller, and Netflix Connoisseur (especially this last one). He spends his days professionally untangling cables, problem solving, and using the power of magic and rainbows to broadcast content worldwide. Sometimes he gets to sleep too! Actually… Who is he kidding, what’s sleep? Anyway, he makes things go when they should, fixes things when they break (for the most part), and never stops until the job is done. Kathy Dunlap (Costumer) is happy to be working with StageCoach Theatre for the first time. Previous RCP credits include Gypsy and Shrek the Musical (WATCH Award), Annie, Xanadu, Our Town, and 33 Variations. ESP: Metamorphosis, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Caroline or Change (WATCH nomination). NS: Scrooge, Into The Woods. MCP: Drowsy Chaperone, Man of La Mancha, Guys and Dolls. DS: Assassins. TAP: The Lion in Winter. Richard Durkin (Light Board Operator) has appeared onstage and backstage with several community theatre companies since 1993, and is happy to run the light board for Clue: On Stage! The curious may explore his and other actor resumes on http://www.abouttheartists.com/artists. Liana Wroble (Set Painting) is an Interior Designer and is enjoying her first show working with StageCoach Theatre. She has worked with local community theaters over the last 20 years and is so proud of the theater and my team.
