Something Different

Something Different HOLLY HARRINGTON has spent more years than she admits to being alive, performing, writing, and directing. She began creating and directing the Something Different shows in 1994 and has had a wonderfully fun run all these years. Most weekdays she pretends to be a productive grownup but prefers to pretend to be a fairy godmother any day of the week. Thank you for coming out to see us. To the cast, thank you for coming out to play with me. ANNE KIGHT-LLOYD has been active in the performing arts since she was three. It’s fun and she likes it. It’s great to be together again with these fabulous people bringing this wonderful show to you. Much love to Trip, Amanda and Liam.

KAREN MCANNANY Having been on stage from a young age, Karen fell in love with entertaining. So much so, she became a teacher. It seemed to be the perfect profession. She gets to be on stage every day in a variety of roles using improvisation, dance and song. :o) She loves being a part of Something Different. Her last time was in 2008; so, it's been a while! She is grateful to be back in the saddle and with a wonderful bunch of women. ALEXA YARBORO PETTENGILL This is Alexa’s second pandemic production and she couldn’t be more excited to be back in one of her favorite theaters, playing with some of her favorite people, and it must be play because it sure isn’t work.

CAITLYN RICKWALD is delighted to return to StageCoach Theatre and the cast of Something Different! You might recognize her as an Elephant with an insatiable curiosity or else as Cyber-Girl from Comic Book Murders. Other notable roles include Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, The First Witch in Macbeth, and Aunt Eller in Oklahoma. To her husband, she wants to send love and thanks for his support. To their son, James, she dedicates all performances to. She hopes you enjoy the show. MARIE TURNER is happy to be back with her Something Different family. She has loved theatre ever since her first role as the Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate lady in a fifth-grade play and has never looked back. She hopes to hop like a bunny, bleat like a goat, and move blocks in black box theaters well into her 80s. Most importantly, she wants to thank Holly and Mary Ann for inviting her to come out and play

Something Different MARY ANN HALL (Stage Manager) first brought Something Different to life with Director Holly Harrington back in 1994 at Elden Street Players (ESP) and is ecstatic to see it back on stage. This will be Mary Ann’s farewell performance in Northern Virginia, and she couldn’t have picked a better show to go out on. She’d like to send a heartfelt thank you to the production crews who have always made her job so easy and enjoyable, and for providing a second home for Mary Ann to create and play these last 30+ years. Luckily, she has the best family in the world, since they have always supported her theater hobby 100%! KATHY DUNLAP (Costumer) is pleased to be working with Mary Ann for one last time. Shall we create a little magic? Previous credits include Watch Awards for Gypsy and Shrek (RCP) and a Watch nomination for Caroline or Change (ESP). Previous shows include Annie at both Reston and Prince William. DS Assassins, TAP: Lion in Winter, RCP: Xanadu, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Our Town, 33VariATIONS. NS: Scrooge, Into the Woods, and ESP: many Theatre for Young Audiences shows.
