Weber State University
Located in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains in east Ogden overlooking the Weber Valley and the Great Salt Lake is Weber State University, one of Utah’s premier state universities. Founded as Weber Stake Academy in 1889, the school grew to become a state college, awarding its first baccalaureate degree in 1964. In 1991, the college became Weber State University.
Today, WSU offers more than 225 degree programs and 16 graduate degree programs and provides hands-on educational experiences for students through extensive personal contact among faculty, staff and students.
In 2019, the Utah State Board of Regents approved the first doctoral program at Weber State: a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) that is offered in two emphasis areas, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Leadership. With this degree, Weber State now provides education for every level of nursing.
Weber State has been ranked among The Princeton Review’s Best Western Colleges, U.S. New & World Report’s Best Regional Universities in the West and LendEDU’s Colleges with the Best Return on Investment. It’s 2020 enrollment was nearly 30,000. Is your business ready for the holidays?
