Un Duvet, S’il Vous Plaît!

Simple Detail: Organic Cotton Pintuck Duvet by West Elm

Designing the perfect home is all in the details, right? One very important detail that I have been obsessing over lately is my bed. It looks fine, I guess, but though I love my sheets and the frame that holds it all together, the one glaring problem that sits atop it all is the duvet cover. It’s plain, simple and grey—in other words, boring. So

right now, I am on the hunt for the perfect duvet to the pull together my sleep space. I’ve come across a few contenders lately, and I think one of them may be my perfect match. Here’s to sweet dreams!

Pattern: Organic Chevron Duvet Cover by West Elm

Statement Piece: Inkwell Organic Bed Linens by Matthew Lew, from CB2

The pattern of this duvet brings some visual interest to the bedroom without making too intense of an impact.

This one is not for the faint of heart, but if you’re willing to take the plunge, it would make a beautiful, bold statement.

Solid Color: Swiss Dot Duvet Cover by Coyuchi Why not go for something classic in a favorite hue? These covers from Coyuchi offer lush color, while the swiss dots add a subtle bit of detail.
