I have some friends that are very, very, very fond of boots. In terms of footwear, next to heels, boots seem to be the most fetishized. It’s not hard to see why; boots, though originally created to keep us dry and warm from the knee down and able to walk on rougher terrain, these accessories have become so much more than functional. It’s almost astounding how many varieties of boots there are; playful ankle

boots, adorable wellies, athletic hiking boots, sexy thigh-highs...the list goes on. What type of boot will you be pulling on this fall? I’m enamoured with these versatile Martha boots by Novacas. I love the utilitarian aspect of getting two boots in one with the easy to attach piece that takes this ankle boot to a full equestrian-style riding boot.
