Patrick, the Sticky Situations Game Show director, answers fans’ letters (and some letters from people who aren’t fans).
Dear Patrick,
I was at your Sticky Situations Game Show and I wanted to be one of the contestants. It wasn’t fair how you chose the students. I did everything right and you still didn’t pick me. I paid extra money to sit in the front row so you’d see me. I wore really cool clothes too. I know I would have done a much better job answering the questions than those dorky people you chose. They were better at picking their nose than picking answers. How do you pick contestants anyway? I’ll never watch your show again and I’m going to tell all my friends not to watch it either. Let me know if you ever decide on a fair way to pick contestants. Mad in Mason

Dear Mad in Mason, I’m sorry you feel so badly about not being picked for the Sticky Situations Game Show. We really try to be fair, but it’s hard to pick just two people out of so many great students in the audience. I know it’s not totally fair, but few things in life are fair. Try reading John 18–20 in your Bible if you want to find out about someone who wasn’t treated fairly at all. Sincerely, Patrick

Q
Dear Patrick,
I read John 18–20 in my Bible. Now I’m feeling dorkier than the guy who got all the questions wrong on your Sticky Situations show. I feel so bad! It was totally unfair how Jesus was treated. How can Jesus ever understand my stupid unfairness stuff? I mean, my stuff is so small compared to what He went through. How can I ever talk to Jesus about me being treated unfairly when He was really treated unfairly? Not So Mad in Mason
A
Dear Not So Mad in Mason,
Sincerely,
Patrick
