Introduction
Why teach your child about money? Did your parents ever take time to teach you about money management? If they didn’t, you probably wish they had—there are so many things to consider and learn when dealing with money! Many children find themselves all grown up and without any real knowledge of money management. They find themselves as adults with little or no understanding of how to save or invest their money—even though there’s no problem spending it! Most parents recognize the importance of teaching their children about the “birds and the bees,” and most realize why teaching their children to say please and thank you is a necessity. Teaching your child about money concepts is no different. Kids need to learn, develop, and apply money skills that will serve them richly throughout their lifetimes.
