THE BEAST–2022 SHELBY GT 500
I HAVE BEEN OBSESSED WITH THE MUSTANG SINCE I WAS FOUR YEARS OLD. I OWE THIS PASSION ALL TO MY FATHER WHO JUST PASSED AWAY IN 2022.
My passion for cars runs deep but my passion for the Mustang runs to the core of my being. I have been obsessed with the Mustang since I was four years old. I owe this passion all to my father who just passed away in 2022. He always joked that I was the “son” he never had because I was always with him learning all I could while he was working on cars. I grew up watching him restore and build cars, take those cars to car shows and walk away with trophies in many categories. He always wore a straw hat with old pins on it to every car show he went to. When he passed, I took possession of the hat and added my own Shelby pins to it. I now honor him by wearing the hat every time the Beast and I go to a car show, meet, or rally. I and the Beast are current members of Colorado Shelbys, Shelly American, and Green Mustang Registry just to name a few. A picture of the Beast recently made it into a local Colorado group’s calendar.
All my life my dream car was a 1965 Convertible Mustang. I wanted that car so badly and I wanted my dad to restore it. That dream went by the wayside when my dad passed. The Beast is the 6th Mustang I have owned in my lifetime and will be my last. To own a Shelby is one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. This car is incredible in every way.
