Private Equity Real Estate Advisory Services The Corporate Finance Group works with private equity firms on existing portfolio companies and acquisition targets focusing on Sale Leaseback and Build-to-Suit transactions. We help our private equity clients drive returns by advising them on real estate monetization alternatives from the initial due diligence process to the eventual exit of their portfolio companies.

Leveraged Buyouts/ Mergers & Acquisitions Sale Leasebacks

We often find a value arbitrage between the real estate and underlying business valuation while evaluating real estate for a sale leaseback. Early Involvement •

We get involved early in M&A-driven situations in order to provide an assessment of real estate valuation during the initial bidding process Enables private equity firms to understand value attributable to a sale leaseback in context of the overall business valuation

Timing - One of two scenarios •

Concurrent – We work to identify a buyer who can close on the real estate concurrent with our clients’ close on the business acquisition

Post-closing – We work to identify a buyer for the real estate after the close of add-on or new platform acquisitions
