S I G N A G E & WAY F I N D I N G T he design team also developed conce ptual wayfinding signs t o be placed along the trail. T he signage pac kage inc ludes a larger kiosk at trailheads that identifies all sur rounding trails and connections, smaller identification signs at connection points and street inter sections, directional signs at access points, and Âź mile marker s along the trail. T his comprehensive system is designed to be user friendly, giving trail user s the maximum amount of infor mation about where they are located, and how to connect to major destinations along the trail.

TRAILHEAD SIGN

T he trailhead monument sign identifies prominent trail entrances for pedestrians and vehic les. T hese signs will inc lude the trail logo, a trail map, and key destinations and distances. T he sign material should be made out of a substantial material such as concrete, steel, or stone.

T he mile marker s shall be placed ever y 1/4 mile along the main trail spine. T hese will inc lude a modified logo with infor mation about where along the trail the user is, and has the mileage infor mation within the logo. T hese should be made out of concrete or stone, similar in aesthetic to the other signage elements.
