Summer book sale dates coming soon!
After a long cold winter, we are starting to see the signs of Spring here in Northeast Ohio. I, for one, cannot wait to welcome in Spring. I look forward to longer days, warmer weather, and getting back to spending time outside in my garden. Speaking of gardening, be sure to check out page 9 in this issue – it’s full of information on our upcoming Eco Fair, Free Community Seed Back, and more! I am hopeful that I can test a few new things in my garden this year and expand my gardening knowledge. What do you like to grow in your garden?
Springtime will also bring Wilmer Valderrama on March 6 and Kimberly Williams-Paisley on April 24 as we round out the 10th Season of our popular Speaking of Books Author Series. The support from our sponsors, the community buzz these events have made, the overwhelming attendance from our patrons, and of course, our fantastic speakers make all the work that goes into these events worthwhile. We are starting to plan for our 11th Season and cannot wait to share the lineup with you all soon!
Did you know that we also celebrate National Library Week in Spring? We do! This year, National Library Week is from April 6 through April 12 and is a celebration that highlights the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. I invite you to visit our website to explore and discover all that Stark Library has to offer you, stop in one of our 10 locations to read, scroll, print, and connect, and lastly, head over to our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram to show Stark Library some #LibraryLove for Spring!
See you at the Library!
