Parade of Lights lit for 13th year The Rotary Club of McKinney’s Christmas Parade of Lights is back in full force for the 13th year in a row. Scheduled for Saturday, December 1st, the parade will kick off promptly at 6:30pm. “Christmas at the Movies” is this year’s theme, so you want to make sure you don’t miss out on the excitement. This year’s parade promises to be the largest one to date with over 40 float entries competing for $1,500 in prize money. Judging is based upon theme, decorations, creativity, and costumes. As in years past, prizes will be awarded im-
mediately following the parade. The parade route will start in the public parking lot at the corner of Tennessee St. and Davis St., it will proceed north on Tennessee, around the library and back down Kentucky. The parade will end back in the public parking lot where it began. The Rotary Club of McKinney would like to take this opportunity to thank our many sponsors and volunteers for helping make this event possible. We appreciate the continued support of the community and want to encourage everyone to come and enjoy the parade this year.
