Musical variety offered for festival this year It’s time for a little foot tapping music. Local residents and visitors alike will have two days of music on the July 4 weekend. Saturday, July 3, folks will be entertained by four different groups at the park below the Visitor Center at Grand Coulee Dam. Eric Engebretson, billed as Eric E., kicks off the musical evening July 3, at center stage from 5-7 p.m. Eric has performed at the Festival of America on a couple of previous occasions. He hails from Pullman, Wash., and his specialty is a wide range of music, and an ability to fulfill requests. Name a decade, he’ll sing you a tune, accompanying himself on his acoustic guitar, sometimes in a duet (he has a digital looper that allows this). He is followed at 7 to 7:30 p.m. by the Coulee Dance Squad. The squad has placed See MUSIC page 3
