THE SECOND ALBUM REPACKAGE On July 19th, 2010, SHINee released, in South Korea, their second full-lenght album “Lucifer” with 13 new songs. The album is listed, by Gaon Album Chart as the sixth best-selling album of 2010 in South Korea, with 124,961 copies sold. Within hours of the album’s release, it topped various physical and digital sales charts in South Korea. The songs on the album “were more carefully selected than ever”, and the album itself is said to “give listeners a great chance to experience the diverse musical characters and more mature vocal skills of SHINee members”. Track 7 was co-written by all the members. In order to place the fans, SHINee has released the album you have in hands with the purpose of given you a repackaged version of the album with 3 more songs: Hello, One & Get It. Enjoy!
SHINee is a contemporary group signed under SM Entertainment. The group consists of five members: Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin. Lucifer LUCIFER “Members using their eye expression to show their main song ‘Lucifer’, in Christianity, Lucifer means the falling angel of the devil. SHINee with a refreshing image in the past activities, showed a big transformation and a feeling of approaching in their 2nd album. SM expressed that ”A selfish heart, persevering love, wrongly threatened and repeatedly revolving appearance of an angel and devil, lovers having a vague feeling in Lucifer” “The meaning of religion is to have courage.” The album starts off with a powerful dance number, “Lucifer,” the title track off their original sophomore album. It uses both the break dance genre popular in the ‘80s along with urban electronica, making it all the more refreshing and addictive. The lyrics portray a selfish heart who mistakes obsession as love, going back and forth between blackmail and conciliation.
“Hello” in contrast to “Lucifer,” this medium tempo R&B pop number shows off the boys’ sweeter side with sweet lyrics and wonderful voices.
