Roma ISD would like to sincerely thank Driscoll Health Plan for their very generous $1,000.00 donation to help fund candy for the Roma ISD Superintendent’s Easter Egg Hunt, which is an annual event for district Pre-K, Kinder and Life Skills students. The event provided some holiday joy for children who may not otherwise be able to enjoy Easter fun at home. This year, the event served approximately 700 students.
“Driscoll Health Plan continues to work closely with Roma ISD and collaborate in wonderful activities that impact positive family-schoolcommunity values. At Driscoll we understand that events, such as the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, are important for the development of the students in the environments where they live, learn and play,” said Rose Santos, Driscoll Health Plan Outreach Manager. “Having a solid foundation affects a wide range of positive outcomes with social skills and social systems. We are excited to see the children celebrate this important time of the year.”
