Open Morning Saturday 9th October 2021 10.00 - 12.30
Dear Visitor, Welcome to St Benedict’s and thank you for attending our Open Morning. As you tour the school and meet our pupils and staff, I hope you will gain a full impression of what it is St Benedict’s has to offer. We have an array of academic and co-curricular activities for you to engage with, and hopefully enjoy! Don’t miss our pupils’ musical performances in the Heritage Room; the ‘Anna Karenina’ rehearsals, directed by one of our Sixth Form students; Science experiments in the labs; sports demonstrations in the Sports Hall, and dance and fencing in the adjacent Dance Studio. Teachers and pupils will be happy to talk to you about St Benedict’s, and to answer any questions you may have. You may like to know about some of the improvements we have made to our facilities this summer. The addition of flood lighting to our sports fields at Perivale has opened up even more opportunities for sports fixtures and practices through the winter months. We have a new Studio Theatre, fully equipped with an audio-visual system, lighting and sound desk. And the Sports Hall, Dance Studio, Fitness Suite and Conference Room have been refurbished and air-conditioned. Every school has a unique atmosphere, and there is the right school for every child. I wish you well as you chart the next stage of your child’s educational journey. With best wishes,
Andrew Johnson Headmaster
