Over 230 NWL players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including three-time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer, World Series Champions Ben Zobrist, Brandon Crawford and Chris Sale. Biking City bike trails are marked along Clearwater Road and also throughout Whitney Park. Take in the scenery of our country roads west of St. Cloud. The Beaver Islands Trail is St. Cloud’s first designated off-road biking and walking trail. A little over 6 miles long, this trail follows along the west side of the Mississippi River from the River’s Edge Convention Center, downtown St. Cloud to 33rd St. S. REASON TWO: Prominent species in the Greater St. Cloud Area is Smallmouth Bass. Average is over 16”, with common representatives over 20”.
