About the trail... The trail consists of a 62-mile long, 10-foot wide, bituminous surfaced hike-and-bike pathway. It runs on the MN/DOT rail corridor formerly owned by Burlington Northern Railroad Company. Known for its scenic views, the trail is used by bicyclists, snowmobilers, roller-skiers, roller bladers and walkers.
